The problem here is that with all the injuries, the departures and lack of reinforcements, we can't really say how much of the failings are down to Maresca alone. The fact that he took the team to top 2 in the table, for a period, also skews things. In the case of Tuchel and Potter, you could easily see how Potter was dragging down an established first team to lower depths.By Blue Armour

Hopefully common sense prevails. Chopping and changing the manager every season does not help. Neither does inaction during a transfer window. They've essentially made life more difficult for Maresca by moving out player without any reinforcements.
