  2. What are you talking about? Today Enzo, Gallagher and Palmer all created easy chances for him and he missed them all. He is solo reason why we didn't win this comfy. He doesn't deserve to play for Chelsea and doesn't deserve our support.

  3. That penalty fight is the most embarrassing shit I've ever seen. Bench Noni and Jackson a couple games 2 clowns.

  4. Poch is enraged at the fighting over the pen, he is saying Cole is THE pen taker, and only if he wants to let someone else take one should he not be taking the pens

  5. Caicedo's best Chels game BTW

  6. Palmer IS THE PEN TAKER!!!!!!!! end of fucking story

  7. Never understood why people are speaking about Osimhen like he has 30+ goals last 4 seasons. Even Vlahovic has been better in 3 of the last 4 Seria A seasons. Giroud this season also more goals.

  8. We are privileged to have had him in our team, especially for such long time. Club was in terrible condition(lol) when he joined, he was for free and 36 already.. Everyone thought, maybe one or two seasons. Four is beyond all expectations, as well as CL/CWC/ESC titles. In his prime years, he was one of the top CB-s in the world, and even at late stage in his carreer he showed how permanent class is. His spell was not a flawless fairy tale, but I'm still happy we did not miss out on him. Defense in this season has been a mess, he received plenty of criticizm. Partly they were fair, he got tired indeed, body and mind I think. But still it's been a huge boost having him in the squad when having so many injury issues.

  9. It is funny before the incident even happened at the end I had already posted my thoughts about VAR: needs to be abolished, imo. I've honestly not enjoyed the game in the same way since it was introduced. I just feel numb, watching goals go in and wondering if it is really a goal, waiting at least a minute after (often several) to understand if it is a real goal. And by then the high has mostly gone. I really wish we would eradicate it or heavily limit its usage. I am in favour of perhaps using it for reviewing incidents of reckless / dangerous foul play. Other than that I don't really want it in our game. Even the offside stuff takes too long and kills the enjoyment. Just leave it to the people on the ground, yes they'll make mistakes, but we can actually enjoy the game moment by moment again.

  10. English var has become a joke. Everyone else has learned it except in England. I watch tons of matches.

  11. When we have players like Disasi, Mudryk and Caicedo starting regularly, we have much bigger problems than Jackson. For me, Jackson, as Cole says, just needs to get a little more confidence and sort his feet out. For me people are getting too caught up with the finishing. Nico has improved quite a lot with his hold up play and off the ball runs. The chances he got against City last week were a lot down to his own hold-up play/off the ball running. He wasn't doing that at the start of the season - particularly the hold-up play. I am not saying he will be great or even good enough long term, however at least we have have actually seen improvements in his game this season and he hasn't even been as bad as some of the other players I have mentioned above. Lastly, he has only had two pro seasons playing in the most difficult position on the pitch. If anyone of the 'project' players we've got deserves some slack, it is him.

  12. After the antics he was trying to pull on the pitch vs Everton, do you really blame the fans? We really went from the likes of Drogba/Anelka/Diego Costa to the experienced Giroud to the inexperienced Jackson up front. No wonder why we are literally mid-table, we keep signing mid-table players. You think any of the top 6 would have Jackson/Mudryk/Madueke in their starting XI week in week out? They would all be bench players at best.

  13. The immaturity on show in that penalty spat highlights exactly what is wrong with this group of players and why they fold in so many key moments. I can often forgive lack of quality when you give it all for the team which. Jackson and madurke have often enough put in the yards but playing for the team is also about putting it first, being disciplined when it counts. Yesterday it didn’t count that much in the moment but it shines a bad light on our leadership. When Gallagher is the only one to step in after it went on for seconds there is something wrong with the character of team as well as the authority of the coach.

  14. Madueke needs selling for peanuts. He's absolute wank and a selfish loser too. Palmer is going for the golden boot but bandana brain can't see that

    Yeah good on Gallagher!!

  16. Yep. Even then, 5 years and some of these muppets like Mudryk, Noni, Jackson will still be not good enough for a team of this level. Or not for starting anyway. Poch likely saying 5 years because the ownership have always been talking about the long term though. And the sporting directors seem to be of that mentality. It’s a shambles from top to bottom.

Good to hear that he won't close his chapter with Chelsea completely, despite the impending departure. He will always be welcome at the club.

I was hoping he would stay and be a player/coach, and eventually transition to a coach.

  19. The PGMOL say that VAR is not there to re-referee games, yet that is exactly what it is doing. In the Villa game the Ref was looking straight at the incident when Badiashille challenged the Villa defender and saw nothing wrong with it......there are challenges like that 100s of times in every game that are not deemed fouls....yet VAR flags this one up.... and once that twat goes to look at the monitor you know we are f**ked. We have had far worse challenges on our players not given as penalties....Gallagher @ Anfield....as they are deemed not to meet the threshold for a foul. It is time we followed the Swedes and binned VAR

  20. If that was a foul, then every 50 50 header should be a foul, Kavanagh can go and fuck himself stick the VAR camera up his arse All MOTD pundits say No Foul

  23. We just want to see a fight from players, work your arse off and don't chuck the toys out the pram if things don't go your way. The problem lately we have bought mentally weak players that are far too raw coming into the most intense league in the world and yet a lot cower like babies

  24. Next season will be our last chance to save our top club name. 3 seasons in a row will be our dead sentence. We will need at least 5 good ones to recover…

  26. What a man, what a player. This is THE type of player that the youngsters need to look up to. The level of commitment, the level of class, and how he presents himself is just top drawer. One of my personal all time favourite Chelsea players. Such a joy to watch. Thank you Legend. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

  32. Tbh we scored most goals since 16/17 season. Already 23 more than last season with 7 games to play. Fixing defense must be priority.

  33. i keep thinking about that Sarri and Kepa debacle in the COC final in 2019, Azpi was awful as a captain that day, he did fuck all to solve the problem, Terry would never have allowed that shit to take place. I have a gut feeling if Caballero came on for Kepa we would have won the pen shootout.

  34. There was no doubt who the designated penalty taker was in real pressure moments like the games against Man U and City.didnt see anyone fighting to take it off Palmer then.but padding their stats when already 4 nil up, oh they want to be "heroic" then..

  35. A durable LB that can defend well. (Sell Cucurella) An experienced RCB that is fast, can read the game well and is an aerial specialist. (Sell Chalobah + Silva leaving) A fox in the box striker. (Jackson bench option or LW) An experienced CM/DM that wouldn't mind being given the 'Mikel' role. (Loan out Lesly) Honestly think these are the only 4 pressing matters at the moment. Bring those 4 in and solve our injury issues, we look way better.

  36. Not really sure why Matt Law has become so toxic towards Chelsea. I know he often got inside information when Roman owned the team, but he has kept getting more negative since the team was sold.

Celebrated that like someone off of these boards if they scored. I am not confident he will be much more than deep cover, but at least we know he'll always put the team first.

  39. Great win that, nothing much more to say about Palmer, he's just elite level. The fight was a joke, embarrassing really- only dark cloud on a very very good night Nice to see Poch flinging verbal punches and getting angry with some of this lot, he's too nice and need more of that

  40. surely Fraudgate has to be looking to start another GKer Piggie is dire shit
    3 points
  41. Yeah - he's clearly reached snapping point. We need to be a team not a bunch of egos. Can't win anything unless everyone is pulling together in the same direction.
    3 points
  42. Yup - there is hope. Jackson shows there's not massive harmony in the team - shame, as if we had that - could be the makings of a great side. Need to lose the egos and play as a team.

  45. Gallagher stepped in to give the ball to Cole. Embarrassing look for Noni and Jackson there

  46. Arsenal are London rivals and Liverpool are widely despised for their history with Chelsea, on and off the pitch. Nauseating as it is to have moneybags Citeh dominating, to most Chelsea fans it is definitely the lesser evil

  47. Almost as good as a Chels win, seeing Klopp and Arteta fuck up 😍

  48. Quite justified. Lost 8 duels, the most out of all the players on the pitch, and lost the ball 21 times in 89 minutes

  49. Do not sign anymore players with LOW IQ and NONEXISTENT TECHNICAL SKILL. Our squad is already full of those.
