hjperdeath 2,226
Stability is bullshit. All the top clubs change managers in 3-4 year cycles. And if you wanted stability why give it to Mourinho of all people? I don't want to watch his shit football for the next 10+ years. Then thats your pov. Is that what others feel? I don't think so.That's your opinion, ours differ. Agree to disagree. Jase 43,479
Disagree. AVB, Benitez, Grant etc all got stick.Only one who didn't was Hiddink and rightly so. Pound for pound the best manager we've had in the Roman era.Never said they didn't get it. It's just they got it less than Mourinho. At least some of the blame was put on the squad last time. Now, there's hardly any with the exception of 2-3 players.

Laylabelle 9,754
It makes sense to give other players a chance.Especially seeing it won't be a risk as we're hardly in good form with our more experience team.Might be the wake up call they need. Popular Post! Muzchap 8,966 Posted September 27, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted September 27, 2015 He's lost it - plain and simple The self appointed God of Football has been consumed by his own ego A star that has imploded.I used to love Mou - I really did - why?- Because I knew when the players stepped on the pitch they would be giving 100%- because we would have analysed the opposition to death and built a game plan around neutralising them and winning the matchNow - all I see is 10 players running about without a fucking clue and a manager who blames everything except himself.I would rather Mou not be sacked - but I want to find out why we have a whiny imposter in charge - instead of the Mourinho I remember...If that doesn't happen - then I see no other option. I think it will happen sooner rather than later. We are in danger of missing out on Top 4.The annoying voice in my head is hoping that this is not Mou retaliating against the board for not getting his summer signings - I want to dismiss this as ridiculous, but with Mou's actions lately I am unable to do so. Whatever happens it's a sad state of affairs didierforever, ZOS, laura90 and 2 others
stroey 2,525
We are short: one defender and one central midfielderOur main weak areas: one spot in defence and central midfield.Mourinho asked for: one defender and a central midfielder in April/May. He got from the board: An unknown Djilobodji and reports of 33 loanees.Let's all blame Mourinho, only. Kieran.

Laylabelle 9,754
The problems been clear for ages Last half of season we were pretty poor at times but sorta not so clear as other teams were worse and we stayed top.Pre season was 'oh it's only pre season'..no it wasn't.Needs to stop being stubborn/annoying by playing players who week in are the cause of some of our problems. If they don't perform don't play should be simple yet isn't.Given our current position you'd thought they would've gone for it.we could've gone top half with a win yet little fight 2nd half and looked like didn't have a clue Muzchap
Iggy Doonican 4,187
Lets be honest we are a basket case of a club in some respects. Does anyone really think Mourinho will be around for long history dictates he won't. The die was cast as soon as Roman came to the club. There will always be a revolving door of managers and everyone has to accept that. Doesn't matter who you are and what your reputation is like the chances are you'll not be around for more then three years. Chelsea have never done stability it's not in our D.N.A.going back to the 70's when Eddie McCreadie was sacked for asking for a car just after winning us promotion with a young and exciting team. Popular Post! kellzfresh 7,229 Posted September 27, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted September 27, 2015 I want Chelsea to be a pressing team that plays with intensity. Not possession, not Tiki-taka, just basic pressing and intensity. We have to develop an identity for our team so that the players instinctively play that way when the match isn't easy. Teams like Bayern and Barcelona hold unto the ball when they're having a tough time because they instinctively play to their training pattern. We on the other hand look like a team that once the game tactics don't work, every player starts playing what he feels like is right without any cohesion. Mourinho just has to get us playing one pattern so that we get used to it, so that even if he doesn't give any match tactics, we won't look so confused and can fall back on our identity. Magic Lamps 11,692
Even if MOurinho is at fault for our slump, is Newcastle really the right event for criticizing him? His subs salvaged the draw after all. I am sure he did not tell the team to play like shit from the beginning. Give him this season. It is too expensive to sack him now anyway, so let him have it and if we fail to win a single title he has to go. kellzfresh

Billy. 2,742
Chelsea doesn't fight relegation after just two months, deep down you know that!I think a lot of the guys here needed an excuse to call for his head, some of them are bored because their toy isn't fancy anymore. As Mourinho said: "envy is the biggest tribute that the shadows do to the man."Really sad and depressing times around here, thank god that Abramovich and his board, a bunch of well trained und educated acadamics, don't think that way anymore. So, get some air, spent time with your families and friends and let that man work, for fucks sake...Otherwise continue that discussion, maybe Costa should go too, lol.I can only speak for myself and I am loving life...If there was any chance we could get any of Augero, Lewendoski, huntelaar, even Dkezo i would be saying ta la Costa didierforever
Billy. 2,742
The problem with us atm is we have to many pussy's on the team that get pushed off the ball way to much. i mean Matic atm is one of the worst for this and he is meant to be our rock in the middle. Back when we have Duff, Robben and Cole out wide they could hold their own. Now with one little brush Hazard, Willian and co just go down or lose the ball. In the middle we used to have Essien, Lampard, Ballack and even little maka that used to boss people about. We have also lost our ruthlessness and going for the kill, it just seems like jose is happy to send them out and ease into the game and maybe nick a goal I will always love what Jose has done for this club in both spells but i feel that this may be the last season with him as the boss. I can see us going for Klopp in the summer. didierforever
