What's this thing on August 10th - his buy out clause expires? If so, then surely that 'weakens' our negotiations? If he has a clause and we match it - personal terms can be discussed without the club being involved...

If his clause expires they could reject a 63million bid, which they would have been forced to accept only 24hrs prior...

This saga really lacks dynamic, cos Napoli are do not need to sell and no one exactly needs to spend so much on a striker. The good thing about that is we do not have to rush anything, cos City will not bid that much either. It only goes over Cavani and how badly he wants to move, so he may be inclined to force it through below the clause. Either that or ADL fucks his own stance up by gravely insulting the player or sth like that.
