The Mourinho Thread

Remind you all we draw against City and win at Villa away, without Fabregas and Costa. If the credit doesn't go to Jose, I'm not sure who else should deserved it.

Win or lose I will still be disappointed that he starts cahill over zouma.

Cahill should no longer be anywhere near the starting 11.

Other then that everything good.

Well actually he is doing okay today. You can't blame the goal because of he is alone don't you? all players are to be blamed

Really? I hope he keeps juggling between the 2 CB's as and when he can,.. in that way that neither CB becomes complacent and loses their sharpness.

This is the mistake that happened with Cahill earlier in the season.

What's the point of juggling two cbs?

We don't do that with Terry. He plays as much as he can.

Zouma needs more game time to get better.

Cahill needs zero as he ain't gonna get better.

Who cares about today.

We should not get complacent like that.

Then we get blind sided again by cahill the weakest link in our defense.

Zouma needs to be our number one cb.

Terry is different from Cahill/Zouma in terms of experience and motivation, and plus he's needed for organization...And even his sharpness can get affected albeit to a lesser extent. There have been a few games this season where even he hasn't been at his best. But the difference is Mourinho doesn't have convey to Terry to always be on his toes, because he expects him to be always doing that. He will still need to make sure he gets that message across to Zouma/Cahill

We shall see if mourinho from now on refuses to use zouma as a starter and will op for cahill.

Just because you play a younger player in one important game doesn't mean much.

It's continuation what matters.

We have to play Leicester away fella.

Concur though, we are in a great position & need to drive it home from now on! Leads have been lost at a later stage than Feb, CL games will have an effect too but no F.A cup sadly, however I said when we went out it would be a blessing in disguise.

Being out of the FA cup is definitely a blessing in disguise.

Can't agree with this at all. Maybe we can try to find a silver lining in there somewhere, but being out of The Cup is a huge, nasty cloud of the most depressing grey colour. Bad, bad, bad, bad.

  • [*]We only leave London TWICE from now till the end of the season. Hull and WBA.
We leave London 3 times, hopefully with the CL getting in full swing again & just 3 away games outside the capital it will aid recovery times for league games following flights abroad.

Considering we got all three points in what is always a difficult game. I say he got the starting XI spot on.

I think that Drogba wasn't on the level, if that's been Remy in the first half I think we would've scored at least one more goal
