Popular Post! MrExcalibur100 7,124 Posted February 11, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted February 11, 2015 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^To continue my post, BT Sport literally talked about this for at least 30 mins after the game. We see Sky doing the same thing to us. van Persie's elbow wasn't spoken on by Sky. Everyone has forgotten about it already. Has anyone noticed the absolutely insane double standard this season especially? I know they normally don't like us, but what's happening this season is very pronounced and very odd. And don't get me started on penalties. We apparently are not allowed to win penalties any longer. Last season was bad, but this season is even worse. I hope I'm just reading too much into it, and there's no underlying campaign against us. When Mourinho came out and used that word, he was roundly mocked by the press, but there was a lot of truth there. I just hope we aren't paying for some of Jose's post match comments last season. Or maybe it's something else.http://www.oneworldsports.com/stories/jose-mourinhos-silence-speaks-out-efaThat's Duncan Castles' article on how the FA are trying to milk their cash cow even more by keeping "competitive". GodZola 630
Flabbergasted that he took Remy off, not just because he was playing so well but with us struggling to break them down & needing a goal from somewhere you need your firepower on the pitch, when he introduced Drogba, their back 9/10 defenders started looking uncomfortable, 2 up top makes more sense to me when we need to score especially with the clock ticking down.Loved the way José hugged all the players at the though, his man management skills are second to none, part of the reason it sets great managers apart from good ones. Rapkun 668
He made the Fabregas change as expected, but surprisingly he dropped Remy to introduce Drogba and not Ramires. Every other time we were chasing a late win we reverted into 442 with 2 strikers and played more crosses into the box. Today however he only made changes for the same positions and took less risks. It's funny because it's probably the only time we score a late winner this season.
hamad138 190
He should stop speaking about the refree every game how he was and stop anwsering stupid question on headbuts because the FA is already losing their mindsI think FA will ban him maybe for the rest of the season if he continues that way

It's already happened this season. Remy even got dropped after scoring and playing well vs Man City. Strikers need continuity and confidence to score goals. Remy is not getting that here. Tells you everything you need to know, sadly.

Share Posted February 12, 2015 I'm waiting for the epic impassioned response from the legend that is supporter tbh .I'd follow that guy into war tbh with the passion he puts into what he says.Hahaha, thank you friend.Yes, Jose defends us continuously and is opening the eyes of many people who did not believe in the FA campaign against us.There are many nasty things that they are doing to US. Sky Sports with retired players needing to be famous again attacking continuously, with many newspapers talking about our players are thrown into the pool in the box, that we are violent ...As you say, I'd rather go to war ourselves than to accept the tyranny of FA and having a coach that is a cheap philosopher as Pellegrino.Mourinho has decided not to accept any humiliation of the FA and I will support him in this and in everything, like many forum members. If I have to go to war with a pawn of chess, I prefer that this pawn of chess will be JOSE MOURINHO.I'd rather die like Mourinho than live like Pellegrino and the others Cheap philosophers Regards. BlueLion. 21,491
because of Cesc imo. DD disrupted a few of our attack again imo.But he gave us the immense aerial presence we lack. Remy is not an "aerial" striker, though he is not at all bad in the air. Drogba being in the box caused them all sorts of havoc from set-pieces. Look how Howard came scrambling out of the goal to punch away Zouma's flick on in the 89th minute. If Drogba wasn't there, either the defence clears it, or Howard comes and claims it. Instead he causes them a nightmare by backing into Jagielka, meaning that Howard has to come and punch. He does punch it - straight to Willian who scores the game-winning goal. Football is a game of small margins and I think you have to give Drogba's physicality some credit. Everton dealt well with set plays all evening until the minute he came on, and then when we went 1-0 up, he did his usual party piece of being arguably the best time-waster in world football by taking it into the corner, winning free-kicks, etc. etc. Yes Cesc gave us a bit more incisiveness in the final third - before he came on we were making a lot of sideways passes in and around the penalty area - but I think Drogba was crucial in unnerving and unsettling an Everton defence totally disorganised after Barry's sending off. You can take your statement the complete other way and say Loic was well off his best tonight. I recall at least a couple of occasions where he had a quite simple pass out wide and he gave the ball away. Basically put, neither Remy or Drogba are Diego's level, but both have their qualities. In a tight, tactical game where one team is very happy for the 0-0, you need the bullish centre-forward who is going to outmuscle the opposition and win you free-kicks and cause disruption at the back for your opponent. Didier did they very well in his cameo. He was far better last night than he was at Villa and I think José deserves the credit for bringing him on at exactly the right time with a perfect battle plan.
