When you're towards the end of a game players get tired and to receive a red at this time virtually kills the tie if you have failed to find the lead. Not great but it doesn't matter cause a) we had a strong looking defence that could deal all the way to the end & b ) we were better and should have scored. Add that to Ramires scoring like 1 league goal, Lampard in and out of the team and not his usual self, our strikers who nothing more have to be said about, and really, the fact we're even around the top is commendable. Oh and we hardly even score on set-pieces anymore lol. Hopefully the defenders keep carrying the team till the end of the season, and Mou can fix some of our scoring problems in the summer. Its really annoying that people keeps asking for 10 or 20 changes in the HT every time we dont score in the 1st half, and its a pain to read Choulo's comments, or to read that our players are godlikes when the team win, but they are shit and garbage when the team is losing.I think we played a very good 2nd half, and the winner goal was a matter of time. Referee fucked the game, but I really saw such a thing coming...to be fair we had some bold decisions that helped us, like that "penalty" that avoided Mourinho's first defeat at SB, and that penalty+red in last game against Spurs, its was just a question of time to some clueless referee compensate those pasts mistakes.The midfield was ok, some greta links between Hazard/Willlian/Oscar, and for me there is little doubt its our best trio, in few minutes Xurli showed that he still have to improve in many aspects. Matic played a very good match until we had 11 men, but he was just clueless after Willian's red, as was the rest of the defense. Thumbs down to Torres, the man just reached a new low, while the rest of the team played a very good match, he was just a disgrace. Matai isn't here anymore. Hazard should take the set-pieces, not corners but set-pieces. He was very good at them in Lille. Not sure about the handball. It hit Matic chest, deflected to his arm, that is aside & I am not sure whether that is a handball. William red was soft, but Ramires deserved to be sent off.Jose had a week to prepare the team. Did he? I am not sure. And that highlights perfectly why there is STILL lots of work to be done in the summer...After 20 minutes I didn't see us scoring no matter how long the game went on.I've said it before and will say it again - our INABILITY to score a first half goal COSTS US!Why?- Other teams build confidence- we put ourselves at the mercy of officials If we had of been 2-0 up after the first half - none of what happened - would have happened.We need a Striker, a replacement for Ramires and probably ANOTHER no 10 to sit the middle.Oscar, Hazard and Wiilian were poor, Schurrle was poor - TORRES and BA were both awful. Whatever playing style we are trying - isn't working...Ditch this fucking 4-2-3-1 and get a better formation FFS...Roll on the summer....
