Strike reacted to Pizy in The Next Manager?
I remember being open to Xavi when his name was in the mix before we appointed Maresca. But he’s been out of work for what, 3 years now? He would be a massive risk at this time when we need someone as close to a sure thing as we can get.
The new manager will be taking over a club in absolute crisis. Appointing someone like Xavi could be disastrous.

I believe for accidental fouls/non-deliberate has been removed. Intentional fouls are still a red card. He pulled him which was not an accident.

"But deliberate fouls will still incur a red card.
Those include holding, pulling or pushing, not playing the ball, serious foul play, violent conduct or deliberate handball in order to deny a goalscoring opportunity."

Yeah. They've changed the rules. there's no double jeopardy - denial of goalscoring opportunity equals to yellow at best

Crazy, right? A top team wants more several top players in their squad. Works for Arsenal aswell, they are a defender powerhouse.
Maybe we should consider aswell then we wouldn't have to turn to Tosin so often.

RDZ would have a falling out with the owners while signing his contract.

Just like we didn't get Luis Enrique or Julian Nagelsmann

This sounds like they're mainly shortlisting coaches with experience handling the league

Lamps would be the absolute desperation play from the owners. It would essentially be them saying “here is your all time favorite son, please stop hating us!”
We’d probably have a nice start to next season where everyone around the club is nice and happy and then collapse again soon because Frank simply isn’t a top manager yet.

I say this with the utmost respect but please stay away from Frank, we have had him before and he should be left alone to manage Cov in the PL as he has worked incredibly hard to achieve that.
Don't tarnish him again, last time was hard to watch, leave alone.

The league is filled with innovative managers right now and going with Jose, Conte could be disastrous. Last time Jose had a good stint was when he was here 10+ years ago.
Tuchel is different because he was at a top club recently and as England manager, is watching plenty of the league and is on terms with the tactical evolution in the league.
Also, we don't know if Madrid are considering Jose. We just know that Jose has been pushing.

Why wouldn't he? It is a jump into the English league at a club he loves and always talks fondly about.
Even at Como, there is going to be a big reset with Madrid taking back their loanees so you never know if his stocks are up in another year.

Strike reacted to Vesper in The Next Manager?
He is going to lose massive parts of the Como team, so there is that.
Multiple players on this list are gone due to buyback clauses, sales, etc
including his main superstar, Nico Paz, who is going back to Real Madrid

Lot of stories on the players and the manager. No doubt the players are a petulant bunch for a group that hasn’t performed consistently even for a season.
But I wonder if these journalists can do a similar critical piece reporting on the owners and what went behind their decision making ?
From top to down, this club needs a massive reset.

❌️🔵Francesco Farioli, on the other hand, is not considering a move from Porto to Chelsea.
The Portuguese newspaper A Bola reports that the coach has no interest in trading the Estádio do Dragão for Stamford Bridge.
This stance is described as unequivocal.
The project he is building in Portugal remains his priority.
Farioli only arrived in July 2025 and has already signed a contract through 2028. His contract includes a release clause of 20 million euros (17.4 million pounds), which, however, is reduced to 15 million euros (13 million pounds) during the transfer window.
Even then, any move would ultimately depend on his willingness to leave and that willingness simply isn’t there at this point.
Off the field, he is said to have settled in completely.
His family life in Porto is harmonious; the Italian, his wife, and their two children feel at home and valued in the city.
This stability is another factor reinforcing his current stance.
