They are not even part of pre season. Zero chance any of these players get a chance. Alonso, Chilwell are more probabile to fill that spot.

Colwill is not part of pre-season because he already joined Huddersfield on loan for 21/22, that was confirmed already in June. He's only 18yo so with him there's plenty of time to develop into a role but first he has to impress in the Championship before even thinking about including him.

As for Mbuyamba, he's been injured a alot since joining and hasn't even had many chances to play at PL2 level so he'll defo stay with the development squad for now.

Sure as hell Sarr will stay now because we don't have anyone who could play the LCB apart from him and Rudiger.

Excluding Zouma, having 6 CBs feels rather overkill.

I don't see any reason why Kounde or Christensen can't fill in for Rudiger in the LCB role.

If the Kounde/Zouma deal goes through it'll be a group of Silva, Christensen, Rudiger, Kounde and Azpi for the back 3 and then if required James can slot in there too.

Not really, if we are using the back three.

Still overkill, unless you're telling me that Tuchel is gonna rotate them endlessly. And Superblue has pointed out the names to fill in at CB.

Plus, if we sign Rice, then he's also another option for the CB spot if we're really down on numbers.

So our most likely team this season will be:

Think that’s a team that will be extremely dominant with the ball as well as extremely athletic and pacey. But we’ll still have to worry about goals. Getting so few from all 3 CM’s will continue to be an issue.

That doesn't seem too outrageous, and if the fee was 30M€ up front+ 5M€ add-ons then even better. Hopefully that will be enough for Sevilla.

Basically that would mean the club traded Guehi, Tomori and Zouma for Koundé and got almost 20M€ cash on top.

Yah that is good business.

What's low for us may be high for Sevilla.

How much has Kounde been earning there?

Reports on Kounde's current wage range from around 50-70K / week. Their highest paid players make around 100K/wk.

Zouma at the moment should be around the same (some reports £50K/wk) so I don't really see how that would be a huge problem for Sevilla unless Kurt is looking for a big pay rise to 'downgrade' clubs.

Interesting to see his aerial duels won compared to the others, especially with the current concern about his height.

At the same time, these are feather weight aerial duels in la liga. His stats are better than Varane last season, and he is only slightly worse than Ben White at defending. Konate sucks. We got the better deal than Utd, Pool and Arse.
