This club is a shambles. Toxic from top to bottom. 

 

Player power - again - plays its part. This time, we've fired one of the best managers in world football.

 

It is absolutely brainless and shameful. We've just spent a quarter of a billion on players to fit this manager's philosophy and style. We've then given him 180 minutes since the close of the window to work with what's he has got - including spineless mercenaries, like Pulisic and Ziyech, who have basically just downed tools to get a manager fired, simply because they're not good enough to play for Chelsea. 

 

This is one of the most braindead and shambolic decisions the club has ever taken. The way Tuchel steered this club through the sanctions was phenomenal. He was the face of the club and I couldn't have been prouder to have him at the helm. The way he throws himself under the bus after every poor game to deflect blame away from the players who have let him - and us, the supporters - down, time and time again... I just can't believe we have made this decision. 

 

Well done, Todd: in fewer than 100 days, you've destroyed all the goodwill towards you from the vast majority of the support. But my most endearing thanks goes to the mercenary bastards who've stabbed the manager in the back. I don't think people realise, but I will spell it out: we've just set ourselves back by two years with regards to the rebuild. Tuchel had literally just fucked off the last of the Conte/Sarri era deadwood, and now another manager needs to come in and start from scratch.

Matt Law, Ben Jacobs all reporting the club's version so far. Wonder what Tuchel's version of the story is. Whether he did not want more authority/responsibility and just wanted to coach. Seems like player power - of some average players who haven't played well for months- has also played a part.

Look at all our games. West Ham at home should've been a draw if it wasn't for a dodgy decision. Got spanked by Leeds away, lost to a very poor Soton side away, lost to a Croatian side in the CL and played very poorly against Leicester and Everton, yet somehow came away with 3 pts. The only game this season where we looked great was against Spurs. If Tuchel carried on, this season would've been another write-off with so many new players.  The risk was way too big for Boehly. 

It is anything but.

Either that or the new owner has been full of shit on his stance about Tuchel and wanting long term success with him since day 1 and has always had his own ideas about appointing someone else but didn’t do it for whatever reason (find that hard to believe considering he changed a lot of big pieces in the previous regimes operation without hesitation).

I mean you don’t give your manager all the extra responsibility even if he didn’t want it, the power, everything they had given him and throw it away after 6 or 7 games into a season on a whim if you are a competent operator. You just don’t. It is knee jerk. Any other club and you’d agree.

Also does anyone really think this group of largely inconsistent or underperforming players is going to be tenfold better with a new manager? We aren’t talking about a Chelsea team with players the calibre of a Hazard, a Fabregas, a Costa, a Terry, a Lampard, a Drogba etc. Theres a handful of good players and good pros but largely inconsistency has been this groups biggest problem since Frank came in. 

I mean who does the next manager come in and lean on? Our best and consistent player so far has been our right wing back.

Whoever comes in next has a lot of work on their hands, as did Tuchel, because this group is struggling horrifically.

WTF! If he had to be sacked should have done before. If the communication dried up then what were they waiting for ... it was always showcased that we're building a team for Tuchel and suddenly he is sacked. 

This is simply stupid, Tuchel surely bought this upon himself but this is not the way to disrupt the season

Sounds like this is going to be a very quick turn around. No way we have sacked TT without being close to getting someone else.
