Definitely one where you knew nothing was going to come out of it after hitting the posts with all the good shots. Mendy mistake. Everton sit deep and defend with 3 CBs. No Ziyech or Pulisic to unlock their defense. Weak minds like Havertz to screw things up. Both our full backs, especially Chillwell were pegged back. Our play from the left flank was non existent. Everything had to go through James. Feel a bit bad for Werner..,he was played out of position again but he did not do himself any favors. This game was set to be a loss. These players mask the shortcomings of the likes of Tammy and Giroud who are average. That sight of Ziyech or Pulisic, or CHO combining with our fullbacks scares the hell out of opponents. Take that away and we're painfully short of ideas and easy to contain as we saw. And up next it's another midtable side who is struggling with form and also missing some of their best players.
