Our sketchy performances at Goodison Park continue. Quite poor going forward and not having natural wingers on the field really showed.

The lads are weak mentally, and it showed today. That's why I'm expecting a top four battle from now on. I had high hopes for us to challenge for the title this season, but reality hit us hard today.

Without that pace and threat of our wingers we are nothing. These players mask the shortcomings of the likes of Tammy and Giroud who are average. That sight of Ziyech or Pulisic, or CHO combining with our fullbacks scares the hell out of opponents. Take that away and we're painfully short of ideas and easy to contain as we saw.

And up next it's another midtable side who is struggling with form and also missing some of their best players. Great.

I'm already hearing excuses of Everton "turning up" against us or it being "one of those" days. The fact of the matter is we weren't strong mentally and we barely created legit goalscoring chances. If Reece and Chilly have an off day we're fucked, and that's what was the most surprising. We couldn't even score against a Everton side that had so many injuries, it's just unacceptable.
