robsblubot 3,595
Interesting read: The Science of Scouting: Dangers of misinterpretation http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11662/9507157/the-science-of-scouting-dangers-of-misinterpretation This is bit is something I've mentioned a few times myself: “Passes are a classic one,” adds Mackenzie. “You’ll go on your Twitter feed and people will be telling you that this guy has completed 50 passes. That’s all well and good but for a holding midfielder who gets the ball off the back four that’s what I’d expect. The real question is what is he doing with the ball? How penetrative is he being? stroey 2,525
Ibrahimovic said: "Mourinho is very intelligent."He doesn’t treat everybody the same. He knows how to treat people as individuals and to get 100 per cent out of them."In his revealing interview with the The Guardian, Ibrahimovic was asked if Mourinho was the most intelligent manager he’s ever worked under, he retorted: "Yes. In the way he approaches players and – ‘manipulates’ is the wrong word – gets them very pumped up? No doubt."http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/519827/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-Chelsea-Jose-Mourinho-Praise-PSG-Star-Latest-News-Lauds Cholo, kellzfresh and Term-X

robdog 2,084
Roy Keane takes swipe at Jose Mourinho, labelling Chelsea manager a 'disgrace'whatever floats his boat. Just re-watched 'The Damn United' & a major source of Brian Clough's hatred of Don Revie was the fact Revie never shook his hands when Derby played dirty leeds in a FA Cup tie. That incident supposedly provided Clough with the motivation to become English Greatest Gaffa ever.
Madmax 9,219
I don't endorse him leaving 5 seconds before the end of EVERY game to 'tell his wife the score' (did he really think people would fall for that?), but the only 'disgrace' between Mourinho and Keane is the latter. Not following niceties isn't quite the outrage that going onto the field with the specific intention of ending a fellow player's career is. Not following niceties isn't quite the outrage that going onto the field with the specific intention of ending a fellow player's career is.Keane is such an idiot for getting excited about Mou leaving early. His behaviour towards Mou is disrespectful. Who gives a damn whether the opposition coach leaves a min early? Does he really think Villa could have turned it around during that period? Don't buy that "sunday-league park game" narrative either. Never seen a manager getting punched for neglecting formalities in my sunday-morning games. On the other hand talking disrespectful shit behind one's back would probably get yourself in trouble here. Especially when you are such an attention-seeking cunt like Keane. One should tell him big beards look hilarious on skinny men. Overrated footballer and excuse of a coach anyway. darrus and HD3D
Belgiannutt 3,201
It is disrespectfull though. Still don't understand how some people think it's not. There isn't any valid reason for him leaving early and the "fuck it, he's Mourinho. He can do what he wants" isn't a valid reason. Now do i think Keane is really the best person to be talking about respect in football ? NO, I do not. zolayes, 11Drogba and Fernando
Fernando 6,585
I agree leaving early is as disrespectful like not shaking hands. If people don't care about such things fine. Then do away with all those formalities, but as long as that stand it should be followed no matter who you are. zolayes
