Chelsea fired him, he can do what he wants, thanks to Roman...

In reality we know that that is what happened but legally speaking he was not sacked. Legally he left by mutual consent and what Jose is, or is not, able to do now will have been agreed when he departed.

damn English "journalists"....:middlefinger:

Yeah, it's just the media speculating again. Just like it was with Luiz and Mata, just like it was with Lukaku, just like it was with De Bruyne, just like it was with Costa being a bully at Mourinho's orders, just like it was with Eva, just like it was with everything that eventually proved to be SPOT ON.

Sometimes the journos get it right, sometimes not, take a look at the transfer rumours, some of them have been proved wrong.
In this case, where are the facts, for example quotes... is there any hard evidence at all?
I haven't seen it so far...

His problems go deeper than tactics. It's his ego and all the fucked up things in his head. Funny hearing he'd start over and do things "the United way" just for the sake of being hired. Means he's learned nothing. You only address mental disease with medication, not good will. Third season at his next job will be the same, I have no doubts about it. Sick people tend to do the same things over and over again, waiting for different results. Mourinho is broken and won't change. Like he won't change United either.

When you create such a history at one club you don't join a rival, Mou at United, Cech at Arsenal and Lampard at City is like Ronald Mcdonald turning up on Burger King adverts, some things should just not happen.

Why has only JT and Drogba from the 2005 onwards core got that?

And Ash, Essien, Ballack, Riccy, plus couple others...

Funny Ashley coming from arsenal but said he couldnt join another english rival team which shows how much respect he has for us and then you have Lampard, who is arguably twice the legend Ash is goes to fucking city...

This ought to piss off a few members in here who have some irrational hate towards one of the greats of this club and football as a whole,  point in case the post before mine

8 trophies out of 15 in the last 10 years thanks to this man says it all really.

Happy Birthday! :drunk:

It's his freakin' birthday, but even that is not enough to cut this man some slack, lolz.
Chill bro, not worth getting upset, just the internet...:cig:

Wasn't he right though?!

i mean, can we compete against the top sides with average players in certain positions and spending a fraction?

have we been right asking for more possession and better overall play considering the club can't compete for the best players?

was Jose right?

Please stop with this nonsense. We don't need the best players to have more possession and better overall play. I mean seriously did you see the shit on a stick football we had to endure since january last year.

There were midtable teams, with a fraction of our budget, that had more possession and better overall play this season. Under Mourinho, this season, we were one of the worst sides in the PL.

Under Jose 16 PL games, 9 losses, 3 draws, 4 wins. 15/48 points. Since he got sacked, without any new signings. 7 PL games, 0 losses, 4 draws, 3 wins. 13/21. If we win against Watford we'll have gotten more points in half the games.

Sooo i'm gonna have to go with no he wasn't right. He was very, very wrong.

I am obviously NOT talking about PL exclusively, mind you... there are no evertons in the CL. These midtable teams you mention ALSO do not compete in the CL against the richest clubs. They also do not compete against City do they?

It may appear nonsense to you, but my TV only shows the richest clubs in the world playing CL finals over and over again... perhaps it's coincidence.

But there is a middle ground. There's not just parking the bus or playing like Barcelona. Imo we should adopt an attacking possession based style and try and play our own game but if we face teams like Barcelona or Bayern then yes ofcourse we'll have to go a bit more defensive but do we really need to completely forsake our own system ? Cannabalise our own attacking power ? Put 10 players in our own box and hope for the best ? Because when you say "was jose right ?" that's what jose is all about against the big teams, parking the bus. Nullifying the opposition at the cost of his own team's attacking strenght and i just don't agree with that.
