Wait wait wait wait wait

He told Radio Rai: 'I don't think Cavani will leave on 10th August, when his buyout clause expires. I'm confident in him, because I consider him a real man. He won't make me a joke of me.
'Should Cavani want to leave, he will decide it after a long period of reflection. But by 20th July we will probably know everything about his future.'

What's that?

This Chris Cohen guy is very sure about this it seems ...

Maybe his source is legit ?

possibly, but i remember last summer during the transfer window there was another guy on twitter who over the summer got some 100,000 followers because he was tweeting some transfer story from his "source".... maybe it was about hulk?

But anyways, it was all over this forum as well, and in the end it ended up being some 15 year old kid who called all his followers idiots and fools etc, and said it was all fake and how gullible everyone is.

Anyhow, you get my point.

After that episode you should take most twitter folks with sources with as much scepticism as possible.

However, you also cant discount that he has a source. Tancredi was sure cavani would be done in 48 hours and way more people believed that "journalist".

Manchester City has forget about Edinson Cavani and is now after Luis Suárez, a forward demanded by the new coach Manuel Pellegrini, according to 'Sunday Express'.

Manchester City could launch a surprise £35million bid for Liverpool's want-away striker Luis Suarez. City are not prepared to meet EdinsonCavani's £35million buyout clause at Napoli and so have instead turned their attention to Suarez.#MARCA.

Would be quite funny if Suarez joined Man City after claiming the English media are his reason for wanting to leave Liverpool. Truth will then be clear he really just wants to leave the scouse losers who blindly love him.

Do I have understand de Laurentiis correctly, does Cavani's buy out clause expire at 10th August, so afterwards they have to listen to bids lower than those 63m € ?

But what does "they have to listen" means? they can still say no. If i understand it right, it only gives them more control - they dont have to sell in any price.

The thing is that from ADL you can understand they will have less control, i take it from "i belive in cavani to be a man and stay". So i realy didnt get that.

The buy-out clause "running out" is potentially bad news. If Napoli won't sell him for £50 million, when we know £53 million releases him from his contract, what will they sell him for when there is no maximum bid? £90 million?!

I don't think he's going anywhere.

Pretty stupid of Cavani to sign those terms last year if he really wanted to move. He's probably stuck at Napoli until there's 1-2 years left on the deal. Only Real Madrid can maybe afford him now

In 1-2 years he will be like 28-29 and no one would pay £40m for him as there will be better strikers available. ''Afford'' is not the right word, we, City, MU, madrid, Barca, PSG can all afford him if we all really wanted. Hell even Anzhi, Zenit...etc can too, just that no one is INTERESTED IN PAYING THAT CLAUSE now and that includes Madrid.
