How is it that every Chelsea fan, every pundit, and every announcer during the games can realize that Alonso is USELESS in a back 4 but Frank can't? How!? He struggles there EVERY time he plays.

Unless it's a back 3 DO NOT PLAY ALONSO! It's amatuer hour stuff.

He must have completely underestimated the opposition and thought "eh, it's West Brom, Alonso can start this."

It's not FIFA

Players take time to learn to play with each other.

Just bringing in loads of signings doesn't guarantee success.

Plus this is not a normal season with a proper pre-season. 

By match day 10 we will be looking much more fluid and all our players will be fit. Then we can judge IMHO.

Until then it's gonna be a roller coaster IMHO.

One that does not involve Alonso I hope.
