The Mourinho Thread

Him and Jose are both bad losers and neither would make any apologies about it. I'm not saying I liked seeing him lose it like that but I can understand where that passion comes from and that it can be very constructive when channelled appropriately.

It doesn't help that Mike Dean is a smarmy cunt who needs his face caving in.

or that the linesman that gave the Sunderland penalty used to play for Liverpool.

I remember the game at home to Shaktar last year (when Moses got last minute winner) and the ref in that game was outstanding, got literally everything spot on.

I can't remember the last time i thought that after watching a domestic game.

was it the game where the ref played advantage and kept running most of the times?

What you think?

If I could..

He was in that moment where the season was crumbling and he came and salvaged it. Got us a trophy and qualification for CL despite intense hatred from fans. Short term, yes.

Long term, Mourinho is much better for us. Benitez doesn't have the experience or knowledge on winning a league, he's a cup specialist shown by his exploits in Spain, with Liverpool and ourselves. He crumbles under pressure and begins mind games he cannot hope to win. In the long term we'll have more trophies than Benitez could have granted us.

the problem is that we're losing out on the title to Liverpool, if it was City i don't think you'd see anywhere near the moaning that's going on now

i would consider this season a success if it was City who were winning the league, but since Liverpool are 5 points above us, makes it look like a complete failure

Yeah but it's undeniable that Liverpool have deserved to be where they are. They've outscored everyone and are currently unbeaten in 11 matches. I hate that they'll win the league, but I don't think this season it's a real shame we let them get this far.

Mourinho is surely going to play a 4-4-2 next season, or a 4-1-3-2.

I think he has learnt that times have changed from his previous stint at Chelsea.

The truth is that your midfield can only do their bit with goals, and that too only for a certain amount of time. Over the season they cant keep doing it.

Having only one striker in the team also means that the other striker will not be top class, and is too much of a risk nowdays with injuries, suspensions etc., as the nature of the game has changed from before.

Having two world class strikers in your team means one thing : GOALS!

Even if one gets injured, the machine keeps moving forward.

Add to that, the fact that the midfield will not be under pressure to score all the time, and that keeps them inclined to play for the team, rather than go for stupid solo efforts alot of times , as we have seen later in this season.

I truly believe the game has moved forward, and specifically for us, it will benefit us tremendously.

Rooney - Costa ?

Costa - Lukaku ?

Cavani - Costa ?

The honest and exciting truth this transfer window will be : what exactly Jose decides to do. There are a good amount of options and a great chance to change our clubs philosophy to move in a different direction.

I believe in a 2 striker system and formation will take us up so many notches, its too exciting to think about.

4-1-3-2 allows us to keep the 3 behind the striker the same as we have had, keeping the continuity.

Matic owns the Pivot position.

Defense is phenomenal already.

Its just the 2 upfront.

Jose, Please do this!!!!

Where did I see he was responsible for it? Yes we didn't take our chances but if we had a proper referee we wouldn't have lost the game either.

Conspiracy. Even I can say that I'm sure Mike Riley has told all the referee's to favor Liverpool and make sure teams against Chelsea get penalties.

That was low and uncalled for. I didn't say anything about magic, I just put myself in that situation. Would love to know how you logically came to that conclusion that I saw ''magic'' in every little thing he does.

How was he responsible for our loss though? Because he gave Sunderland a penalty even I thought it happened at first glance? Remember the ref doesnt have 3 different replays to make sure!!!

Of course it is a conspirancy. Have I said I have proof to begin with? Despite Foy, all other refereees had a neutral jury regarding Chelsea this season. There was no reason for Rui Faria to go all nuts at the ref because he didnt do anything wrong.

Everything Mourinho says and does is miracously applauded, despite it being wrong. That is where my conclusion comes from...

The ref gave them an undeserved penalty, that's what he did wrong. This was a real title decider and it looks like Rui Faria really loves Chelsea (at least while he works here) so he went mental. A proper coach and a legend after that. José would have gone mental as well if it didn't mean that he would be sent to the stands for the remainder of the season along with a huge fine.

An undeserved penalty? Look at the replay and where the ref was. Even I thought it was penalty before the replay. And only after a few different angles I realised Azi didnt actually touched him. It was never a deliberate mistake. They had no fault for the result!

Mourinho didnt prepare the team properly, especially when picking Rambo to start. Oscar deserves a slap in his baby face so he can wake up. Ivanovic cant cross. Dave was asleep. Schwazer isnt a proper keeper. Etc. I'm fucking mad at everybody. I'm furious. Good thing I dont live in England now!

The game ended 1-2 because we were incompetent. We were incompetent, not the refs...

EDIT: Like Jaime Redknapp said, blaming the referees is stupid. We are being bad losers. If we want to blame someone, let's blame ourselves.

He's not wholly responsible for our loss. But he did infact play a huge part in it. We aren't helping ourselves with what we have upfront but the referee's don't have to make matters worse. The wrong penalty, Matic/Terry's goal, the hand-ball incident and Rami's red. Pathetic officiating. Replay's aren't there is a whole different topic altogether when you've seen referee's get such calls right before. What makes it worse is that it hasn't happened just once.

Rui Faria went 'nuts' for a simple reason that everything seemed to go against us. Right now he's at home thinking about how stupid he was. Hindsight. As I said, put myself in his place. I would have ripped a seat and thrown at him, only to feel guilty later. It's human nature. All well and good to say something about a person in that situation while we sit here, but what he did was passionate. It showed how much he cared. Once again I'm not saying what he did was right, but at the point of moment, it didn't seem wrong either.

People don't like his PC's, I get it. There are different kinds of people. I on the other hand know where it's coming from. A lot of past managers have used it. Paisley and Clough prime examples. That's where Jose gets his tribalism from. There was that documentary called " Blue Revolution", if IIRC, Mark Lipton talked about it quite well. That's why I understand why older Chelsea fans, especially those who have witnessed the pre-Abramovich era, connect with Jose so much. We aren't going to criticize objectively, that's just not what club-supporting fans do.

LDN,

Liverpoops deserve fuck all. They were helped by the refs since December as soon as the cunts at the FA could see them winning the PL trophy. It will help us all, just watch their games sometime.

We are not in a position to make such accusations when we ourselves have benefited from countless dodgy decisions over the course of the season.

It also helps that they have a strict attacking philosophy that helps them dispatch most teams, especially the bottom feeders, with ease. something our multi million pound squad seem incapable of doing all season.

claiming the most entertaining team in the league, with most point (that's what would happen if they win the league) and on course to finish with historic goal record is just sour grapes at this point and this is coming from someone that hates Liverpool passionately. any team that finishes with the most amount of point in the end always deserves to win it.

next time we should learn how to break down packed defenses and actually beat the teams we should be beating like pool have done all season and perhaps we wouldn't need to resort to bitterness because we had be busy celebrating winning the league instead.
