Iggy Doonican 4,186
I'd very much doubt that attendance's will fall even if we are in a relegation scrap fella.I had a lengthy dialogue with one of the senior peeps in the ticketing office during the close season cus I sent them a constructive & assertive email questioning all things that are not rosy with trying to purchase a ticket. To their credit, the customer service I received was exemplary, he explained everything & one of the problems getting tickets is because there is a 100,000 members scrambling for a meagre 10,000 ticket allocation available on home PL games & that was last season! On Monday & this is despite our recent poor run of form, I tried to get tickets for the Norwich home game, after an hour of coming on sale, the only tickets remaining were concession tickets & I couldn't even get them cus I wanted more than the website would let me have! That said, I wouldn't mind if we do struggle cus we'd get rid of some of the blinkered tunnel vision fans like we've got on here -despite Jose being unquestionably correct about the F.A where all they have demonstrated is that they are more incompetent than FIFA & that sums up the F.A, there is a desperate need for a complete clean sweep & reform there, yet this lot on here still find the words of their pessimistic wisdom to disrespect Jose but hey Wenger acts with complete integrity to all & sundry but we're just over look that.....I get their frustration with José this season but ffs when our manager is hitting a nerve with the fools from the FA & is 100% correct in his assessment then play devils advocate for once & take your sack José glasses off ffs!Well you can go through my posts mate and i have never said Mourinho should be sacked. Has he made some questionable decisions this season on and off the field a definite yes. 100,000 members is a bit of an anomoly because a lot of those members are overseas and become members as there way of supporting the club knowing they'll rarely be able to attend games. What's our hardcore support that would go every game through thick and thin i would say about 20-25,000. So you say if we were in a relegation battle people would pay going towards £100 for a Cat A game mate sorry but no way. The crowds would be down massively. If we did struggle cup games would no longer be subsidised so £70 for a Cat B game against Norwich. Mourinho's last game first time round 25,000 everyone paying full price against Rosenburg. Rhino's Skin 972
OK you name the positives ,, and not we won and kept a clean sheet ,, Clear analysis ,, go ahead .Plenty of them considering the season so far.Controlled the game for virtually 90 mins.Defence looked a lot better.JT was on good form and controlling our back line well.Key players rested for the long trip to Kiev.Mourinho got his subs right to protect Baba.Costa looked fit and sharp. We scored 2 goals from open play rather than set piecesConfidence seemed to be coming back.We have moved up the table.Didnt seem to pick up injuries.Team look disciplined and balanced.Am sure all the quicker passing from back to front will improve with confidence of getting results

A mistake by the keeper and a cross deflected in not exactly flowing football but fuck i'll take it. The difference between Dave and Ivan was the major plus point for me. Dave just knows exactly how much space to give the opposing player before putting his tackle in or just being touch tight and not allowing him any space at all. Pacquiao 1,834
LOL cant stop laughing at the fact people are still moaning after a win and clean sheet today!after the way we have started the season, our performance is not important at all right now! getting 3 points and building confidence and getting back used to winning games is what is important right now! What did people expect us to suddenly start playing Brazil 1970 after not playing good football at all for the entire calender year of 2015??? fact is its going to take time to get back to playing good football, right now if we can keep winning games without being at our best that is fine by me, it really is hilarious seeing people moan about our performance after being so awful this season! right now i will take any win we can get. iceboy and stroey

Maybe he sees something I dont, hopefuly he sorts our team as it should be.

quickpassnmove 924
Hazard to be benched more until he's a "team player" for Jose's Chelsea. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/jose-mourinho-says-eden-hazard-6652824Interesting development. wonder where that's headed. How do you like being expected to carrying the team that is so inept at attacking and always the one to be kicked by the opposition? Will your knees hold out? Better in Spain or Paris?
Blue Armour 4,448
He said in his PC that he didn't play Eden because of tactics because we've been conceding too many goals lately, all in the same breath.Surely, he could be lying and probably trying to protect a possible injury and stuff, but if it's true, my goodness, he might think it worked and we're fucked. No real surprise at all. I said in an earlier post that the only reason Mourinho kept using Azpilicueta on the left and not anyone else, was because of Hazard.Tbh, today I was expecting him to continue with Cesar on the left and keep Zouma on the right, but he opted to go for having 2 natural full-backs and was even willing to drop Hazard as well.I'm pretty sure he has no plans of playing BOTH Baba and Hazard on the left flank, and tbh we would get crushed on that wing right now. Baba is only settling in, and Hazard is not in the best form.
Laugh1ngMan 393
So we finally got to see what Mou's answer was to this crisis:Remove the last bit of creativity from our team and go even more defensive. This guy is just a portuguese Tony Pulis but with a bigger ego and a bigger budget. We were in the process of building a team who could win things by playing more attacking and entertaining football and he singlehandedly killed it just to win a league title in the short term Vybz Kartel, 11Drogba, Muzchap and 1 other
Popular Post! Jase 43,479 Posted October 18, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted October 18, 2015 Chelsea win overshadowed by Jose Mourinho's choice to drop Eden HazardNail. On. Head. This is a massive understatement but Mourinho really does baffle people with the things he say. We won yesterday - our first win in nearly a month IIRC - and he could have just let that be the headline. But no. He had to go and criticize Hazard for his lack of defensive work when asked why he was on the bench. Could have just said he was rested, he's been playing poorly (which is true) etc but instead, he had to cause some sort of controversy and give the media ammunition to write negative stories about the club. Some might argue that he's challenging Hazard to improve himself but he really could have just done that by talking him to privately. There's no need to say those things in the public! I'm not optimistic that Hazard will stay with us for a long time but if we lose him because he cannot stand Mourinho's constant criticism about his defending - which is mostly unfair when you see the likes of Ivanovic, Fabregas etc have gotten away with it - then Mourinho seriously has plenty to answer. We have a player with the potential to be the best in the world but he's being criticized and held back from becoming better because of defensive work. Will your knees hold out? Better in Spain or Paris? Now Eden shouldn't be free from criticism or from being benched but this makes no sense.1) If he can't fit in a player like eden against Villa at home because he's concerned about conceding goals, well...2) If it's about sending a message to Hazard (which is what i feel it is all about), the timing seems wrong, two weeks after his last chelsea game, on the back of his best performance of the season (albeit for the NT).3) Having Hazard defend more, is not going to help us that much. We need him to carry us forward. Having him track back more is only going to hold him back from it more.4) And now these comments... Sheesh. He's never criticized anyone by name like this before (besides Carneiro lol). I mean questioning his attitude, threatening to drop him completely... It may have worked after the Atleti game, but it' different now. All of the team is underperforming (not you Willian  ), so why is he singled out like that. Besides Jose is not in as strong as a position as back then, far from it, no matter what the board and the players are saying. Popular Post! stroey 2,525 Posted October 18, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted October 18, 2015 People asked for Baba, got Baba.- asked for RLC, got RLC.- wanted Zouma, is a fixed starter now. - complained Jose kept playing Falcao because of his ego, Falcao is dropped from the bench vs Porto and Villa. - complained that Jose never drops untouchables, dropped Cahill, Oscar, HAZARD, MATIC, TERRY.- a clean sheet, got one.- a win with 2 goals difference, got one. But still, zero praise for the changes, all you can hear on this forum is moan moan moan and moan, the glass is always half empty on here. All you guys will focus on is Cesc and Ivanovic not being dropped, exactly what Jose asked for in the summer and didn't get: defender and midfielder. All other guys has decent replacements, who is Cesc's replacement? Oscar? Is he creative? No we don't have other play makers. Ivanovic is the only guy that should've been dropped earlier but who is his replacement? Baba? Not 100% ready yet. If we got Marquinhos/Stones or kept Filipe Ivanovic would already been dropped long time ago.
