Just have to hope like hell that Rom kills it at Inter again so that either Inter themselves decide he’s worth buying back for a decent fee or it serves as an audition for some other club to take him. The Blues have also tried to leverage Inter's interest in Lukaku to swap him for Lautaro Martinez, Denzel Dumfries, Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni. They've seen their requests for these players rejected out of hand.

Yes, purely because we stuck with him for three and a half years. Getting Torres meant we couldn't put our name in the hat for Aguero, Falcao and Cavani when they became available and we started signing players (and managers in Rafa's case) who would have worked/did work well with the prime version to try and coax something resembling form from him. Not to mention the toxic positivity the crowd and his fanboys spread every time he done something resembling a footballer.

As terrible as Lukaku has been we thankfully seem to be getting shot early and Tuchel quickly dropped him.

I think it is much worse when you realize and admit your mistake after one season, also Torres signing was much better without hindsight. You may view Torres fans as toxic, but in Lukaku case he is himself is toxic which is why he is being shipped out despite a 100m loss lol.

If Lukaku had the same attitude as Torres, Tuchel would give him much more opportunity.

Or take 10 millions pound instead sounds better!!! Of he has a great season they will throw 60m at us next season for permanent surely....
