Even though our current squad does need improvement in certain area, Mourinho isn't going to panic over one defeat in pre-season, especially with the NY Red Bulls game being our first. We did lose 3-0 to Werder Bremen last year after all.

But if we also lose to PSG, Barcelona, Arsenal and even Fiorentina...

Our first pre-season game but our finishing was woeful as usual.

Griezmann, Reus, Pedro on the right can solve this.

Holding the ball against pressing teams with ramires playing is a disaster if either fabregas or Matic gets injured.

Witsel, aranguiz, javi Martinez will solve this.

But we're happy with what we have... Let's hope our first team starters don't injure.

We HAD the best team in England LAST season. There's no guarantee that everyone will perform as well as they did last season or even stay fit. Plus ALL of our rivals will have improved drastically.

City, Arsenal, United, and Liverpool have all splashed the cash on players that will directly improve their first XI. Are we seriously not going to sign any quality additions!?

Seriously starting to piss me off. Does he not understand that squad depth/ qulity depth was our biggest issue last season. Not only has the squad been made smaller its lost quality aswell.

last year we were very lucky with regards to injuries especially in comparison to the other top sides . We MAY not be so lucky this time , I fear we do not have the depth

to deal with an injury crisis.

I honestly think he's been told that the days of big spending are over and that he's being forced to use academy players or ones like Moses who were out on loan.

We'll literally be lining up day one of the PL with the same XI in all likelihood. Would've laughed at someone who told me on the final day of last season that we'd start the next one with a weaker squad.

Isn't FFP relaxed now anyway, and even if it wasn't Im sure we could spend 50-70mil without it being a problem with the new TV deal, recent player sales and new sponsors.
