Apparently this is something that Peter Kenyon did when Jose was first here, and image rights weren't as big an issue as they are today. Fair play to him.

Not fully sure but my understanding is we own the rights to the name and signature of Jose mourinho as a brand and marketing tool, ie mourinho mugs, banners, etc. 

Now given the global brand that United have and the brand and marketing appeal Jose holds in his own right I would imagine these rights would be fairly lucrative to them.

Real good opportunity for us to milk some money out of them, we still owe them for screwing us over mikel!!!!

The pundits, journalists in England are truly an embarrassment. Whenever Mourinho is out of job, they crave for him to return. They view him as a God, a messiah, some sort of life savior to drag a club out of the limbo.
