Jase 43,479
Maybe my perception of them is tainted by their games versus Atleti, the ones I watch with most interest, but still I would say yes in the sense that they often go all out attack and leave themselves open at the back. The exception is probably only against Madrid/Barcelona, where they adopt a more counter-attacking approach. In general they play with good intensity and their attacking play is often excellent to watch, but overall they are too defensively susceptible for my liking.Ask any Valencia fan and they will tell you the number of times Emery has fucked the Copa del Rey competition when he had one of the best squads in Spain or how often he makes brainfart decisions for/in matches (which still tend to happen these days). From what I've seen and heard/read, I'm not sure if Emery has that winning mentality to succeed at the highest level.
CHOULO19 24,332
My opinion has not changed since the new poll was put in place. I wanted him sacked in October when we could still make top 4 if we turn it around. But that has obviously been long gone so there is no point sacking him before the end of the season. If we are still in bottom 7 or 8 come Jan/Feb, then sack him to avoid a relegation battle.

manpe 10,861
This season is making last season's title feel worthless tbh. If we lose to Porto I will go from 'undecided' to the 'yes' camp and will stick to it until it happens. Muzchap

Tomo 21,754
The biggest mystery is Jose before this season lost four home league games in 12 and a half years, how the hell has he managed to double that tally in just three months? From what I've seen and heard/read, I'm not sure if Emery has that winning mentality to succeed at the highest level.Yep, a good manager but good enough for Chelsea? I don't think so. I suppose it depends on our expectations: are we content with a title and league cup every 2-3 years or do we want to aim to be among the European elite again? In case of the latter, then as we are pretty damn far from having the best squad, we'd have to have one of the best managers to make the collective truly greater than the sum of the individual parts (something we were expecting from Mourinho). Now that Klopp is at Liverpool and it looks like Guardiola will probably end up at City, I think Simeone is the one who best fits the bill but would he leave Atleti? Sampaoli would be an interesting choice as well but there really aren't many candidates who the fans could have genuine faith in, probably one of the biggest reasons the board and many fans are still hoping for what looks like an increasingly unlikely Mourinho revival. And four points behind West Brom....We could be in the bottom 3 by the time we kick off at Leicester. #JoseOUT It really is a collapse of the highest order. Popular Post! Eidur the Spider 4,515 Posted December 6, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted December 6, 2015 What an absolute mess this is eh? I've given myself a little more time to compose myself after yesterdays result but I think if it wasn't for the Porto game on Wednesday night he would be gone and rightly so. It's not only the results that have upset me this season.- His pig headedness and lunacy at keeping playing Cesc and Ivanovic in particular baffle me. What does Jose see that everyone else doesn't? It's similar to the Oscar scenario, I was a huge Juan Mata guy, was genuinely upset when he was sold to Manchester United and I still watch him with admiration even in that horrid red shirt. I think it's Mourinho's arrogance that worries me the most, he clearly believes he is right about the players he's playing and that pundits and fans don't know what they are talking about. Case and point last nights coverage, Alan Pardew before the game while doing good analysis said his team when they came to Stamford Bridge, singled out Ivanovic and got joy. He says that on tv, everyone agrees but one man. Jose Mourinho. I swear sometimes it feels like he looks down on the fans opinions with his persistent picking of these players. - His post-match press conferences. They irritate me beyond belief. I was walking the dogs with another football fan today and he summed it up quite perfectly when he said, 'Mourinho's press conferences used to be must-see because he was entertaining, now I feel like I can't take any more of his moaning'.That is what I am fed up with. He should have given Bournemouth credit yesterday, he didn't, I knew he wouldn't. Instead he whined and complained. Sick of it. - He has to go. It upsets me greatly to say this but my dad was one of the very few people who said when he was appointed 'I've got a bad feeling about this'. And he was right, yes yes we won the title and the league cup last season but when I reflect upon it, especially the second half of the season, did I enjoy it? did I feel too much pride in our performances in particular after the Bradford/ Spurs shambles. Not really. This has been coming since then,. the only difference being is that this time while we are playing poorly, we don't have a title on the horizon, we have a relegation fight to stay out of. It's depressing. Time to go mate. I am exhausted and tired exclaiming all the same issues week on week only for them to be ignored by the supposed special one. I am not a Jose hater by any means, and I love what he's done for the club overall, but it's time. Getting out of a mediocre group in the champions league shouldn't save him, we shouldn't have taken it down to the last game. You know what I'm worried about the most? is the fans doing another show of support on Wednesday night like they did against Kiev because let's face it, right now, Jose doesn't deserve it. Harsh but that's how I feel. Now I'm gonna go and watch some X-files and chill out. This season has got me wound up. manpe, DYC., poup and 12 others

didierforever 7,349
To have reached one of your minimum targets could release pressure from the players, it's also good to have another competition to focus on where they are at least doing okay. I believe this could boost their performances in December. I agree RLC and Remy deserve starts though. i dont think cesc and oscar being unable to pass under pressure or ivanovic unable to put in a decent cross has ANYTHING at all to do with "pressure". winning (by some miracle) against porto, is not magically going to improve them as players. and winning against porto, is not magically going to make jose a "just" meritocracy following manager. even if he puts in the most deserved team oftiboazpi zouma gc babamatic rlcpedro willian hazardremyand even if we beat porto 3-0, i can bet both of my balls that iva and cesc will still start against leicester.and we will again lose and be embarassed. Popular Post! Bosnian Blue 2,471 Posted December 6, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted December 6, 2015 TOP 4 is mission impossible now. Even Alex Ferguson as interim manager can't guarantee it. So the best thing would be to search for a new manager and hire him as soon as possible, then give him the rest of the season to assess the squad and implement a different playing style without setting any huge goals and putting pressure on him. Personally I'd recall a few youth players from loan and play them in the league. Try to win the FA cup at least and have a give us fans a little something to be happy about.Hopefully we don't relegated in the meantime with Mourinho. jernej93, Changingman_2000, DYC. and 5 others
BXL70 400
There is no point of sacking José. It is too late. Forget the top 4 and the CL. Our main objective now it to avoid relegation.
