Southampton had enough chances to not only equalize but score like 3-4 goals. Liverpool get gifted 1 and horrid defending for the second. 2 chances, 2 goals, game over. Didn't have to work for it at all.

Southampton have been let down by their centre-halves and lack of a decent attacking threat. The full-backs and Lallana have shown a lot going forwards but there's no real help ahead of them and Liverpool have capitalised on naive and sloppy defending.
