This is good question and next season will tell if we bring him. But TT also wanted Hakimi.

In games I mentioned above I dont think he would help us that much. Because:

My big hope is Kai playing behind Haaland and delivering in terms of creativity. Ziyech should also be much better. Ben and Reece can be useful if Haaland is good with head which I dont know.

I have no idea the formation we play with Kai and Haaland on the pitch. Considering I always felt Hudson O was always more effective on the left wing, where Timo occupies.

Since we continue with this formation most expected is this:

         Haaland

  Mount      Havertz

Another option:

 Werner Haaland

      Havertz

My favourite:

      Haaland

Pulisic   Havertz

If Haaland isn’t world class idk who is. Lewandowski is often considered the best #9 in the world currently and he rarely “creates something out of nothing.” Almost 100% of his 40 goals this past season were inside the box and many of them were poaching on the end of a teammates good play.

Haaland is much more dangerous outside of the box than Lewa is. He’s not yet Harry Kane’s level when it comes to creating  for others but he’s not just a traditional target man. He’s certainly world class, though.

If you wanna talk about goals inside the box and all, then only ONE of Haaland's Bundesliga goals have come from outside the box and even that took a slight deflection. Plus almost all his goals have come on the end of a teammate's good play...

And remember all the talk of Werner's Bundesliga goals happened mostly because of the amount of space he got etc? Yeah, just look at the space that Haaland also got for his goals. Maybe you could argue that Haaland is more clinical than Werner but then again, both have scored similar amount of goals and missed similar amount of big chances in the Bundesliga.

Are you an ITK? 👀

Not really, it is just common sense. pretty much everyone has accepted it is just a bridge too far, the deal is to big, too late and dortmund's stance is too rigid. It is just our friends on here who understandably want this to happen so bad, they actually believe it and clutch to every straw. Really sorry and would love to eat my words but this is just not happening.

Don't get me wrong. I've alluded to here a lot that I don't think this deal will happen this summer but the stories keep persisting - maybe partly because people need the clicks, views etc as nothing much is going on - and then there's the whole argument that Dortmund won't say no if we suddenly do throw in a £150 million bid. Do you think Dortmund will say no if we throw in that bid?

What I’m saying is that Lewandowski almost strictly does his damage within the box. He’s not going to really trouble opposing teams anywhere else. Haaland on the other hand has those signature moves where he gets the ball near the halfway line and rampages forward like a train. His pace and power in the transition game is a huge weapon.

You have to always account for him on the pitch. Not sure the same can be said about Lewandowski.

i think they will indeed decline 150m. They will only agree to a move if Haaland himself forces it. Watzke budging is usually depending on the combination of both A astronomical bid that exceeds the player's current mv by far plus the player himself being adamant on the move happening right away. otherwise they will be happy to keep a player even if it means losing him on a free to bayern later. they care more about continuity and stability in their squad with enough time to plan ahead and finishing consistently in the CL ahead of a quick buck.

But Haaland still does the most damage by scoring inside the box, no? And as people keep mentioning it last time and all, it's great that one gets all the space in the world in the Bundesliga but what happens when one doesn't like in the Premier League (since we want him)? Haaland is not going to be able to just run from the halfway line and just charge into the box unchallenged here.

In the last 8 games for Norway he scored just once in friendly. And all games have been against shit teams. He is definitely dependable on service behind.

We have players who will feed Haaland balls and he need to score, something which Werner failed with.
