It won't be nice from a sentimentality point of view but that's where the comparisons with Arsenal end.

They were selling players at the absolute peak of their powers and not replacing them properly, Kova and Mount have not only had huge question marks on them for over a year now we have upgraded heavily on Kova and by the looks of it will on Mason aswell, certainly the last 18 months version.

I'm assuming you mean we've upgraded with Enzo, which is fair, but bear in mind, we've already lost Jorginho, so we still need another CM.

But who did we upgrade on Mount with? Would that be Nkunku?

So this Mount deal it seems the stumbling block for United is us asking for 70-80M, hope to fuck we hold firm and for once are the ones getting massive money and standing our ground and taking clubs to the cleaners instead of the other way round.

It's like when we want a player we are bent over a barrel and fucked up the arse, but when people come knocking for our players it seems they are let go like a fucking pigeon gaining it's wings.

Looking like Rice to Arsenal, Kone and MacAllister to Liverpool.

All excellent signings, sadly. These are all players that should massively improve those sides.

Hopefully we get our midfield targets as well.

We MUST get the right players in. Even if we get only 2-3 players, they have to be starters. We will have a lot less games and no world cup this time around, we need a tight group.

If we mess up this window there is a good possibility we finish between 7-9 and our stature is heavily damaged. Last time we had such a bad season we won the league the following one and swept it under the rug, but with so many new faces around the club mediocrity can easily become the norm.

Even if we need to sell players, I hope the club holds firm and moves them on only after it's certain that we are getting adequate replacements.

Don't want a situation where Pochettino gets screwed over due to lack of depth in midfield.

That's been the issue for far too long. We buy players that aren't that much better than what we already have instead of undisputed starters.

£30 million....cheeky buggers...after they fleeced us for the frizzy haired Spanish waste of space. We need the likes of Colwill to stay

Absolute piss take offering just 30m.... it's because they know we are dumb enough to accept such ridiculous bids for our players.

Regarding Colwill, I’m sure all of you here also follow Liam Twomey on Twitter and he does raise the concern I’ve also expressed. We’ve spent an absolute fortune on CB’s this last 12 months including 2 that play in the exact sort of area Colwill does. One of which is just barely older than Levi and is very promising in Badiashile.

So it’s a real headache if you’re Poch deciding which of these players starts in a season where you would have to assume rotation will be much rarer since we aren’t in Europe. And you can understand why Colwill may be hesitant to return. Badiashile is just 22 and is starting material with lots of potential. KK is at an age and on wages that make it a total waste to have rotting on the bench every week. But he has already expressed his desire to stay at Chelsea and make up for a poor season.

The best solution for us is of course to move KK on but I don’t see how at the moment.
