I can only guess the kind of culture he would help in setting up. Agree that there’s no way we’d bring him back now but I DO think he’d look significantly better in this current setup in the 10 position behind Jackson. The interplay between those two would be amazing. This is the problem. If it is a long injury we're pretty fecked and have a weak hand in the market to do anything about it. A loan deal with option is now probably the best thing we can hope for. We cannot take another punt on some young kid/someone from a unproven league as Nkunku was meant to be the glue. Vlahovic is a completely different profile of player and would rotate with Jackson, not Nkunku. Neymar rumor came and went within hours as expected. What we need is a highly technical attacking mid who can link play brilliantly and also contribute with killer passes and score a few. Players we’ve already been linked with can slot straight into that #10 role behind Jackson. Kudus or Cherki.
