You serious? Lukaku bakayoko Drinkwater, salah KDB torres, shev, Costa Morata kepa to name a few. Some where bad some where bad club decisions but it doesn't doesn't go  unnoticed.

All but two of those players listed were absolutely shit for us and all but two have been since.

I can think of many reasons top class footballers won't want to sign for Chelsea but a bunch of shit players being held accountable for their performances I very highly doubt will be one of them.

Yep. If anything, a top player with true ambition will probably view it as a positive that mediocrity is not that easily accepted at the club.

And let's not pretend the same doesn't happen at pretty much every other top club as well. For example at Real Madrid in roughly the same time frame they've bought Sahin, Illarramendi, Kovacic, Danilo, Ödegaard, Theo Hernandez, Odiriozola, Mariano Diaz, Brahim Diaz, Jovic and very quickly discarded them all for not being good enough for them. And that's not even mentioning Hazard who is still there but is obviously a forgotten man.

Could probably name a similar list from almost every top10 club in Europe from the last ten years if one bothered to look. Football transfer are always a mystery beforehand and not every transfer always works out.

I rate Koulibaly massively but there is always the risk of when he will lose his athleticism, which is his main attribute as opposed to Silva (hence why Silva can play at the highest level at 38).

Koulibaly + Skriniar with Silva, Chalobah, and Colwill makes a safe CB unit.

Keep saying the same. He was one of the best cbs the past few years but you can already see his athleticism waning. And he has to take those fading strengths from the slowest to the fastest, most physical top league. He might be able to slow it down but there is no guarantee he does not fall off a cliff.

if we pay 40m for ake and 35 for koulibaly, i think that is an absolute waste on both but also the combination does not instill confidence.
