ZanSnake 1,211
Needs to have time to stamp his mark.We all know that when he does it will be different to now, guess you can say this is a 'transitional' season ( ), but he should be the manager being given the time to turn us around - not Roberto or Rafa - but the Special One. kellzfresh, Phil Driver and iceboy
Blue Armour 4,448
True but then again, with a better squad this time around, one would expect us to do better in the weakest group compared to last season's and the one before. Instead, we have hardly been convincing and making it somewhat harder than it should be. (in a way, we should also be thanking Steaua for messing things up in the group)No doubt about that. Also, like Sidzeret posted earlier, Mourinho felt guilty for not making more changes earlier in the second half. When you look at who's been in and out of the playing eleven, the squad seems largely underutilized. I think this is something Mourinho might be looking to change in the coming weeks, especially with games coming thick and fast in December. Popular Post! ZanSnake 1,211 Posted November 28, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted November 28, 2013 I want to add, that we have a manager who is willing to put his own neck on the line, rather then the players. That itself is an amazing achievement in terms of the reaction of the players - when a manager is willing to accept mistakes rather then put down to the teams performances. I will love Jose for that. I will love Jose for that.Very true, I was thinking about this on our way home today, it was a huge decision for Jose to retur. To Chelsea. He is putting his legacy, his reputation on the line. He has chosen for the his love of the club to put all that pressure, press nonsense and even tre very real possibility that Roman will again sack him as soon as look at him. God Roberto won the cChampions league.I really admire Jose for returning and I just hope he is given a chance. Share Posted November 28, 2013 well the haters, the moaners, the impatient ones can suck it up because Mourinho isn't going anywhere, so you better get used as expecting you to be patient and support the manager is clearly a stretch. You can cry, yell, curse, post stats, pictures, videos, maybe even try a petition. He's here to stay. iceboy, Ainsley Harriott, The_Flash and 2 others

I will love Jose for that.Agree with that notion. I remember that last season Benitez didn't really protect the players in any way to the media and always seem to let them have free shot at our players. And whenever, our players were the victim of an offence, he didn't protect the team and instead chose to do his best impression of Wenger; "I didn't see it. I didn't hear anything. I was only concentrating on the game. Every week there are many incidents of this. There is no point in discussing this bla bla bla...". The Suarez-Ivanovic biting incident was the most evident of all! ZanSnake and kellzfresh
Strike 7,492
Have found it slightly funny that on Saturday, people were raving about Mourinho and his decision to go 4-3-3 (more like a lopsided 4-2-3-1) against West Ham and now not a word spoken about doing the same yesterday with arguably an even more cautious and defensive approach seemingly only looking for the point...that's the problem with draw conclusions based on one game while ignoring the other 3 his month. the players are not exactly filled with confidence heading into a tough hectic period of the season. i hope we don't come out of that period outside the top 4. Rather that bites him in the ass or not, i doubt will be a factor - but i think Roman has finally come to the knowledge we need someone longer then a season, hence Jose's return. He clearly has a heart for this club, and once the team responds to that - we will be stronger. bushman 2,043
Well, with Roman one never know, does one ? Despite of Jose making a mistake & not resting the players, hopefully he won´t make the same mistake again. Chelsea qualified, should beat those Romanian, secure the first place & let´s move on. Sheva. 5,373
Same points after 12 PL games as Di Matteo, and the same 4 points off the top. He's not going to be fired like the untrusted Italian obviously, but it's been a ridiculously lukewarm start for him. He already has his best team and plays them every game, yet they deliver inconsistent results and performances.I'm sure it's frustrating for him too, coming from a team that had the likes of Alonso, Ozil and Ronaldo, but i guess he doesn't help himself by expecting the same players to perform 3 times a week. lionsden

There is a VERY long time to go, sometimes teams like 10 points ahead DONT win. Also when we won the CL I thought we were going out and look what turned out. I think the CL will not happen, Real and Munich are too good but we should push for the league and the cups.Any ridiculous talk of sacking Jose and we are in a crisis is glory hunting nonsense.
