What message would it bring if the club sacks him?

He is the CURRENT double winner of the EPL and COC cup, what club will sack their double winning manager?

The club fucked up this summer, starting by the stupid post season tour knowing the league starts 1 week earlier. Followed up by a stupid window, letting CECH go to Arsenal, not signing the players Jose wanted, slowing things down with the Baba transfer and signing Papy as the defensive solution on deadline day.

The club knows what manager Jose is, he needs his type of players to succeed. Those are top class players in their prime age or young world talents. You can't give a Sushi chef ingredients to cook Pizza and expect him to succeed.

The club owes him a January window to fix this mess and should rethink his position at the end of the season. He deserved it to fix his own mess, he has brought us so many happy moments and trophies.

Selling Cech tbh has nothing to do with where we are now and is not that bad of a decision imo. He lost his place and the goalkeepers are least of our problems. The only thing Cech going to Arsenal does makes them have one over us as he is saving them points and they are in a mcuh better position than we are.

Good. If there is someone that deserves our full supports, it's Jose. I'm still convinced he can turn this season around and when he does, he will become even more experienced and lead us to success for a few more seasons.

There's so many sheep on Twitter it's unhealthy. The thing is they're good people with good opinions but their unconditional love for Jose don't allow them to see things from perspective. Whenever he says something it's 'legendary' even the post match interview when he said nothing at all is something to behold. Talking about fanboyism ...

I tell you what perspective you're missing. We play awful football and can't string 3 passes together yet our manager can only pick out referees and players not tracking back. I don't doubt that he is committed to the job, absolutely believe that he has hard time at home thinking about solutions but I say this, the job he is doing is not good. I bet that he still spends >90% of the time thinking about defensive organisation, how to make team more solid but little to no time is spend on attacking drills. We have no idea what we're playing. Players are not used to certain match situations and then take too much time to perform an action, even second to think at this level is eternity. Talk about commitment. Who is the most committed player in the team ? Willian perhaps, bar Azpilicueta. But Willian still carries the ball for WAY TOO LONG, he takes AGES to think about solutions and things to do in certain situations. So we have super committed player who is still pretty awful but on the offensive end of things. Why is that ? Because the offensive patterns of play are not exercised or are not efficient enough. That's 100% on managerial end. I don't care that player is not tracking back, why Jose only says about tracking back and defensive side ? Whenever he talks about offensive side he talks ONLY about confidence but when he talks about defence he can go very deep with the theme talking about organisation and such. That's the key. I think it's similar at training. He doesn't give a shit about attack, it's only about confidence and players do the rest I'm assuming from this. Now I have to ask are attack not subject to organisation, patterns and way of playing ? Not subject to certain match situations and practising them as long as players will know how to resolve them subconsciously ?

And one last thing. I absolutely get that Jose is great manager, I'm his biggest fan probably BUT don't mix up him and his ability as a manager for short term work with his ability as a manager for longer scale. You can throw his trophy cabinet and list of his achievements all you want, fair enough, you can say he's the best manager club ever had, fair enough, but how it has anything to say with him as a manager post peak season ? We have enough signals and evidences that post peak he is not the greatest to put it mildly. He has certain way of work which is ALL ABOUT MOTIVATION, I think the pure content is sidelined, then there's peak, then post peak shortcomings are showed more and more.

Not bad for a Chelsea striker. Drogba is one of the best strikers we ever have had but we can't expect him to fire goals in forever and gradually the goals declined and his performances. Mourinho has done so before and done so now, brought short term success to every club he is at then gradually the cracks appear and he does not know how to deal with it. If we are going to base every maangers' job on past achievements, no one might as well be sacked. He has done that in the past but like I said he has not proven he can provide long term stablility. We are lost for ideas, the team seem lost under him. I only see one route here.

True but it seems pretty kneejerk for people to demand his sacking now. It may be the route, it maybe thats what Mourinho wants - but we will never have continuity if the manager that has brought so much to the club is dispensed with in his first bad patch. By the same token , I would not want the board to hang on to a manager for 10 years with a bare troohy cabinet, the way a certain North london club has with a tetchy Frenchman.

I would like to think the club are pragmatic, and allow some fluidity, cash flow for January, but I would also like to see Mourinho play players in their right positions ffs.

This is exactly the mentality that is damaging us.

Every game they say it's "the last game", "the future deciding game". I understand this is coming from the media as they need stories, and stories about Jose are even more interesting.

But if our OWN fans also act like this on Twitter, Facebook, forums with tweets/stupid polls etc, don't you think the players will pick this up? You put pressure on your own team for nothing.

Come on we are the current double winners, this manager just won us the double a few months ago, I am not talking about 2005. Have a little faith, be a little more positive. A season has around 50 games, see the bigger picture: 2 seasons, 1 EPL, this season just passed 25%.

Please don't cry and moan after every defeat and start supporting your team.

And those who support him and the team want to be successful and more of the eight beautiful trophies he's delievered. I don't know about you but from the first day I supported this club, the success we've had in both spells was barely even believable, a dream.

For achieving what he has, he deserves the patience the great SUPPORTERS of this great club are giving him. He deserves it.
