The Mourinho Thread

I really don't get the purpose of all this strange posts.

- Mou said the team is in transition

- Mou admitted he wont sucrifice wnning for the sake of playing beautyfull football, anyone of you wanting this should support Peps team, they really should

- Mou said we wont be champions and probably wont win anything but he will try all to do so

- Mou tells hazard to shut up and get his work done on the pitch for the team

- Mou defends his players as long as they stand behind him

- Mou limited Ashs, Lamps time on the pitch

We overachieved in this season, and this wasn't good for some of our fans, they had too high expectations. Mou stood to his words and had always a plan. Football is a game and so isn't predictable, you only can give your best to win, sometimes its enough sometimes not... get used to it...

perfectly put. well said. :clap::clap::clap:

That's one Logical rational Post.

Not to mention that when we face Inter in the CL, the ref screwed us over with many calls.

So we don't say nothing because it was a Mourinho team, but if it was against Barcelona the conspiracy theory abound.

Then you have a shocking memory, Inter rightly knocked us out. Check the archives of this forum and that was the general consensus, nothing like Barca 09 or Liverpool circa-05. We were embarrassing under Carlo in the CL, so much so.. that we actually 'relied' on any conspiracy theory we could get our hands on. There was a penalty 'incident' with Ramires against United in the CL, but again.. they knocked us out convincingly.

It was our title to lose ,,, AND we have lost it ,, who do you blame ,, Jose blames the players.

so we did? can't have everything even if it seems to be at our reach already. Having ambition is good but lacking pragmatism is another story. That's what we get when we have a young, inexperienced squad - young men can run a lot, but older men know where to run. A couple of key signings and we will have a perfect mix of players and something to look forward to. Don't really understand the gloomy atmosphere on this forum currently.

I think in amongst all the doom and gloom and finger pointing you have to give huge credit to those teams who came to us or we visited who just sat and sat and defended brilliantly.

Get the Cardiff game out the way and the rebuild starts from there.

Great way to take the game out of context, 26 seconds of youtube (hmmm).. Vs watching the game and knowing what happened football-wise over two legs. Mourinho is the big game specialist, Carlo was out-thought just like Pellegrini at the Etihad. Feel free to post whatever anomaly in his career you want to disprove that fact..

Carlo failed us in Europe like he failed Milan domestically.

The thing is none of the people who constantly moan talk about the other side. There is no suggestion of an alternative. They just reminisce about the football that Carlo had us playing in 2010....but gloss over the fact that we had a spine that JOSE MOURINHO actually put in place a few years earlier. Avram Grant had us playing some good football, but again that was down to the players we had.

We don't have those players yet and some people simply don't have any patience for us to acquire or develop them. They want it now and if they don't get it they'll stomp their feet and hold their breath and cry and cry and cry.

Agree with you here. In order for Mourinho to implement his style he needs his type of players. If he has to be a wheeler-dealer and even sell a few popular players, I'd be fine with it aslong as it would benefit Chelsea. He wants to form a new backbone for the club, but it's hard to complete a puzzle with wrong size or missing pieces. I'm fairly surprised about the change of attitude towards JM, if we'd go back to the day he resigned for us a little under a year ago, then by the looks of it there were certain faces that would be ready to die for him but now are slagging him off. Maybe their expectations were set too high, JM is good but not a miracle man.

Just like Mourinho been out though by smaller team and blaming the ref for certain games?

You can't have a double standard measure man.

With the same rules you measure, that will be also measured against.

We know with 100% certainty that we're buying a striker. We know after seeing Ash crying yesterday that we'll almost certainly buying a LB. Now we have to just hope and pray that José realizes that we also need a CM. Judging by his comments about Ramires the other day I'm not confident.

We may well go into yet another season with a piece still missing. That's my only worry.

Chelsea & Inter were somewhat equals, so in that case.. the managers are out-thinking each other, yes. Small teams/games are irrelevant here, notice you had to take it out of context (again) in order to have a point. I said Mourinho was a big game specialist, if you disagree with that 'do so'... don't change the subject.

Check the stats for the Norwich game yesterday, thats not being thought out....its called having no strikers in your team.

Oh okay you meant big games only.

Fair point.

Results point to that, but it seems like last two seasons he has been out though by klopp and simeone in the biggest game of them all.

So does that makes them now big game specialist now?

No not for me, just that every year little things can impact the game.
