He confuses constant pressing, going up in numbers and be dominant, falling back when not in possession and hitting them hard on the counter with 'reactive'. Quite wrong tbh .... Let's not forget Chelsea is a sacking club with very little tolerance for failure. If Mourinho claims we're in for the title race this season (knowing it will be very difficult) and in the end we fail, then the pressure will be on. The media will be all over it too. Can you imagine the summer headlines? "Is Mourinho getting sacked after falling short in the title race?" or "Will Abramovich give Mourinho another chance after a season without silverware?" .To prevent this, he chooses to warn everyone beforehand, including the Chelsea board, that Chelsea is not yet ready and it's very likely we won't win anything at the end of this season. City have a great squad, Arsenal have continuity, but just think about how many changes happened in our team before and during this season. Remember how Azpi turned into a LB or how Oscar, Hazard, Mata and Willian kept rotating a few months ago. Even at this point we don't even have a crystalised starting 11 to begin with. We don't know who is our main striker. Remember how Matic was signed just a few days ago and he's already in the starting 11. Jose is building, he's thinking everything through all the time. Nothing is ready for us, yet. Still, we are there, just like he said. Which is just enormous. Imagine what happens when the mechanism will be ready.Nevertheless, being in the title race might seem normal, but just think about it as if there was no Mourinho.
