Pizy 19,377
So 5 more years of Jose ,,,,,,, and 5 more for BranaNah. Think Iva will be done after this season and will end up at some shit, once great and now irrelevant team like Inter or AC Milan who always sign former star players. Clockwork 1,794
Jose Mourinho set for £30million payout if Chelsea wield axe on under-pressure bossAm I wrong in thinking this? If Mourinho finds a job which undoubtedly he will next next season Chelsea would only have to pay the difference between his new contract and his old one. So I don't think think we would pay 30m because highly unlikely Mourinho goes jobless for 4 years. Essien19 and saroix
Billy. 2,742
Just think if Jose is sacked and get his massive pay off, that os prob one less player we can buy to sort out our issues
Adnane 1,101
injured in 2007 after that in only 2 seasons did he play more than 30 pl gamesDuring the two seasons after 2007 he played 73/76 League games, he was injured in 2010-2011, thus playing only 24 games, then went on to play 85/114 league games in his last three seasons with us, when he was aged 33 to 36. Now I may agree with the fact that Jose burns some of his players by demanding way too much from them over a short period, but you are using the wrong example. Popular Post! Spike 12,049 Posted October 6, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted October 6, 2015 Personally, the main reason I do not want him sacked is because this is an awkward part of the season. The transfer window is shut and there is quite a lot of time until the January window. If there is indeed a new manager soon, they won't be able to make any changes to the squad for quite some time. There is still over two months until January and that is ample time to fix what is ailing the team.My preference is to wait until the end of the season to sack him [or not]. This is a huge and expensive decision and shouldn't be made as soon as now. Everything is a mess right now, but to sack Mourinho and bring in another manager may fix things in the short term but may create future issues with the club. I'd hate to see another Robbie di Matteo instance where the new manager is given a contract at the end of the season and sacked a few games into the next season. That would be a fiasco. The right decisions need to be made and sometimes they have to be made patiently. Popular Post! Jase 43,479 Posted October 6, 2015 Popular Post! Now I may agree with the fact that Jose burns some of his players by demanding way too much from them over a short period, but you are using the wrong example. I think the fact that Lampard managed to play 164 consecutive Premier League matches is a testament to his fitness level rather than the manager trying to flog him to death. He is well known for taking good care of his health and fitness and it has served him well throughout his career, helping him to put in reliable, consistent performances and play at the highest level. On top of that, I'm pretty sure he didn't start all of the 164 games, play the full 90 minutes of each match and he must have gotten some rest along the way in some of the cup matches. Lampard is something of an anomaly in this situation and I doubt we'll ever see another outfield player break that record. Blue Armour 4,759
RDM?You missed my point about the squad being unseasoned as well. RDM had Drogba, Terry, Lampard and Cech. Hell, you even saw Terry spouting managerial instructions from behind RDM's back in one match. RDM didn't turn around the situation on his own. He had help from the players and their experience in cup competitions. A lot.

Popular Post! Henrique 9,133 Posted October 7, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted October 7, 2015 To be fair with Jose Mourinho, the board is also to blame for this situation. For me its clear that people making decisions are making making a strange job.For example, before Mourinho came back, the club was investing in a specific kind of player: young players with attacking insticts, the team even had a wild CB who dreamed about being a striker. Oscar, Mata, Hazard, KDB,William, Schurle,Azpilicueta (I know he came when Mourinho already was the manager, but for me its clear Willian was actually a club signing). Then, what the board do, they just hire Jose Mourinho. Probably the most negative great manager ever, known for ultra conservative approach and for being more concerned about not losing than winning a fucking game. Many people forget that, when Jose Mourinho was hired back in 2013, he was talking attacking football!!! He kept that talk for at least 4 months, but there is a big problem, Mourinho just doesn't know how to do it. The results were not appearing, the defense was conceding too many goals, and and the attack wasn't creating enough chances. As fas as early december, he was still talking about attacking football, despite average results, some his quotes todays are just unbeliveable:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10509004/Chelsea-will-not-compromise-attacking-approach-says-manager-Jose-Mourinho.html"But Mourinho was adamant Chelsea's style will not be altered, in comments which could be interpreted as a veiled criticism of predecessor Rafael Benitez. The Chelsea boss said: 'Am I going to change the style and play more defensive players? No. Am I going to play David Luiz in front of the central defenders? No.'Am I going to play with four plus two and the wingers closing behind and leaving Fernando in attack waiting for a counter attack, waiting for a long ball to try to win 1-0? No.'We go in the same direction.'"Can you believe that? Jose Mourinho saying he would never change his "attacking" aproach, criticizing Benitez for being defensive, and saying he would never leave a srtiker alone, wainting for a counter attack and wingers closing behind!!!!Everybody know what happened in the rest of tha season, and months later Luiz, KDB, Mata, Schurle and Lukaku would be playing elsewhere, while Willian was turned into a second righ back, while the team was buying back a very unidimensional DM in Matic. For me its clear one thing: when the club got Mourinho back, he was supposed to take the best out of the squad a play an attacking football. Somehow, that got lost in the process. Perhaps Mourinho pointed that results is what matter, and when the team became consertavite again, the results appeared. Perhaps he got a point, since next season the team ended the season as PL Champions.Okay, Mourinho still had two more year in his contract. 2 years. Then, the club offer a contract extension and give him 2 more years. To honest, what club in the world would do such a thing at this point? The manager completed only 50% of the current contract, and then you give him more years. To be honest its pretty simple, I know there is an obession in England with "building a dinasty", but people just don't understand that Alex Fergunson was unique case. You just need to see what happend with every big european club in the past 10 years, and its going to be really hard to find a single club who had the same manager for more than 3 years, let alone 6.Football is really dynamic, building a manager dinasty is not what is happening around, it doesn't mean you have to fire your manager every season, but giving a manager, who is under contract, a extention with two more seasons yet to be played, just doesn't make any sense.Few weeks after the cotract extension, the club releases a "public support" that basically says the results must improve or the manager will get fired. Even the RDM situation was an idication that people making decisions are not confident enough to make the right decisions. RDM was not a proper manager, but he was named for the job because the club didn't have the balls to say" thank you, but thats it". They were too affraid of the reaction coming from the press and from fans who believed he deserved the job as a sign of gratitude.
