Fernando 6,743
Good thing from Chelsea. This is what all we need. Now we must stick together and turn this around.Well this is only the first step. The problem I mentioned before as well is that if the club is going to back him like Wenger, then they need to give him more power like Wenger. The reason why SAF and Wenger have stayed a long time is because they have total control. Will never work with any manager to stay a long time if he is limited in control. Popular Post! Pacquiao 1,834 Posted October 5, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted October 5, 2015 Of course Jose won't be sacked! This mess isn't his fault! He is the best manager on the planet, hopefully the plastics will pipe down now! Jose and the players will turn this around and the clueless people who have been embarrassing themselves having meltdowns will be left feeling very stupid. kdot, stroey, Fulham Broadway and 4 others

Popular Post! didierforever 7,349 Posted October 5, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted October 5, 2015 this is not to someone in particular.but i honestly feel calling someone/anyone a "PLASTIC" is the biggest form of abuse for a football fan.no amount of racism, abuse, name calling can come close to it.if any person deserves a ban/warning, its the assholes who call other members a plastic just cos they are stupid enough not to be able to comprehend what other members are saying. Fulham Broadway 17,810
We can't just assume that all of the failings in the transfer market were all the board's fault and have nothing to do with Jose. For example, he made it VERY clear that the Falcao signing was his idea and desire. He also never even hinted that he was looking for a top fullback who can come into the starting XI. He thought he could get the best out of Falcao- that hasnt happened, but Falcao and Remy should be more than adequate cover. As for a fullback, the board have been too stingy imo with regard to Stones, either of the Manc clubs or even liverpool would have coughed up what they want. Stones has covered at RB before. This was the plan until Terrys legs had gone.

Are you going to go to Klopp and say "wait until the end of the season and we MAY sack Mourinho?" He strikes me as a guy who will be romanticizing about the "history and prestige" of Liverpool and will jump at the chance to manage them. And you really think a player manager with no experience can do a better job than one of the best in football history? Come on, mate. Blue Armour and Fulham Broadway

It's the dreaded vote of confidence.Don't see what's the big deal with the club releasing a statement to back Mourinho. Yes, it's the first time we've done that under Roman but it's the same as the Director of Football, Chairman etc coming out to support the manager in public. A few more bad results this month and he'll likely get the sack. Henrique
Pizy 19,377
If we draw, let alone lose to Aston Villa, with the repeating offenders of Fabregas and Ivanovic on that pitch, get him out. In fact, if he dares to start Ivanovic and Fabregas next game, he clearly hasn't learnt his lesson. Sick of those untouchables. And if we DO somehow beat Villa with Ivanovic and Fab playing, it's paper over the cracks and will be back to our losing-selves the following game. I have ZERO faith with this manager until he drops those two. End of.Think Fabregas is a shoe in. Do feel he'll finally drop Ivanovic. For that one game, anyway. John Stones, seriously?Chelsea's problem isn't individual ability. The 11 players on the pitch aren't functioning together. Any kind of cohesion is lost. They look like a bunch of strangers. Far from a well-coached unit. It's unbelievable something like this could happen but it happened. I'm starting to realise/accept it will take a while to fix. Jase 43,479
Of course the players aren't all blameless but is it not the role of the manager to be a motivator too? If Mourinho can't do something about the poor motivation (why are they poorly motivated in the first place?) he simply isn't doing his job very well.I get what you're saying but if these players - who are currently the English champions - can't even motivate themselves to compete and achieve victory (which is the basic target of every professional sportsman) at the very least, then what's the point of them being footballers? Might as well just pick 11 random Chelsea fans and they'll likely show more hunger, desire and passion to fight for the club and the shirt they're wearing.
