The Mourinho Thread

Recommended Posts

I'm just going to leave two quotes here and that's it, I will say no more about this subject.

"If you can't support the management when we lose or draw, don't support it when we win"

"If someone doesn't appreciate your presence, make them appreciate your absence"

Once we make another Rafa/Avram-esque appointment, as someone succeeding Mourinho, that's when Mourinho's absence will start to matter.

You know why this happen?

Because a lot of people thought Mourinho was the best thing since slice bread. That non of this would ever happen with Mourinho.

Now he is just normal like any other manager. Same shenanigans like Carlo.

So if we are having the same results as if we would have with Carlo, Pellegrini, Hiddink and such then what's the point of having him here?

He can't play attractive football, he is problematic and can't bring youth.

Might as well bring someone that does that for less and does not bring a bad image.

ONE win in TEN matches (including preseason), SIX of them were losses. That is a sackable offence.

When I said before we forgot how to win, I didn't know it was this bad. Worst Chelsea start in almost 60 years...

And to be honest, this is the WORST Chelsea swamp I've ever seen since I supported them 13 years ago. Which doesn't make sense because bar Pedro, this side won the league with 10+ points to spare!!!

How we have fallen...we are looking worse than David Moyes when he was at United.

and only win, we have won with a lot of luck!

It was such shit timing.

Won the league by being the best out of a bad bunch and dumped out of Europe by 10 man PSG. He had another 2 years and constantly said in the media he wouldn't leave unless the club let him go. What was the rush?

Now we are stuck with a short-term manager on long-term deal.

That (the signing of a new deal) was bizarre to say the least - didn't he have 2 more years left?

Our board got carried away. Who can blame them, we hadn't won the league in a while afterall. It's reminiscent of the contract extension we gave malouda and Anelka after winning the double in 2010.

Mourinho has achieved more here than any other manager put together in the 11 years of Roman's era. He's not "normal like any other manager". This man built success at Chelsea. He has the highest win percentage out of any Chelsea managers in HISTORY. Mourinho wasn't even given his first choice players he wanted in the summer like Stones or Abdennour. Cesc and Hazard, have been nothing but a shadow of last season. Mourinho needs to be given another transfer window at least with decent funding, where he can buy his first choice players. I am willing to give him a benefit of the doubt. Great managers like him deserve it. You didn't see Dortmund fans wanting Klopp out for having them in relegation for 2 months?

So basically like what AVB said before. I'll be the shit one if i have bad players.

Then that case a lot of manager can do good if we have good squad. We don't need him then!

well there wont be many left. I guess its ok for you to call people "fickle bastards"

It is okay, because that's what they are. They'll all be kissing his arse again soon. Provided Roman doesn't swing the axe as he is prone to.

I doubt it because after his third season he hasn't been that great then pellegrini.

All that noise just to do the same he did?

Not worth it for me.

I rather get a coach that wants to be more attack minded and is not so controversial.

Last season when we were playing poor particularly after the Spurs drubbing, I remember Cahill was called to be dropped by many and eventually Zouma got his chance on a few occasions. Cahill was recalled yes, but at least his performance improved a tad bit.

I think Iva is at the point of no return as a top flight full-back, Jose is being too patient with him, when he's guilty of being impatient with other members of the squad(particularly youngsters).

I really hope Jose can give Baba a chance at LB with Azpi at RB.
I'm sure there will be improvement (we cant get any worse) and it'll open his eyes once and for all that we need proper fullbacks back in their correct/natural positions.

I honestly don't mind Ivanovic at CB, he did alright in our 12-13 season when Rafa was in charge. If he has to be involved it will have to be back at centre of defense.

The best way to move forward as a club is Jose coming to his senses and we get closure on the whole back-room incidents with Eva.

Jose brought us our best years and if anyone deserves more time and opportunity to turn this mess around, it's him.

Heck, Klopp was given the whole season with Dortmund and they came out looking better as club despite Klopp(his decision) leaving in the end.

I don't care what anyone says but if Baba is fit and he does not start in the next 2-3 games instead of Ivanovic then I'd want Mou to go to be honest.

This is my exact position. I'm a huge Mourinho fan but he is showing himself up with Ivanovic.
