Its various reasons, but if youre a Chelsea player going to a full WHL or Anfield they know what a rush that is. Any performer - a live band will be more creative, show offy in a live gig than in the studio. Its the cheering and abuse that makes it. I would say players right across the board are slacking off 10-20%. No adrenaline rush, like a training game for some of them. All I'm saying is we can't really do a fair comparison with previous Chelsea managers when the majority of Franks's Chelsea managerial career so far has been in an abnormal 2020, which is weird enough without the football taken into account. Lack of crowds, lack of preseason, compressed fixture lists, those aren't things that those previous managers had to deal with. And this season, even the experienced managers are struggling. However Lampard has been here since last season, not this summer. He really should have developed his own style in his first season and go for the best players for his system in the summer market.
