Magic Lamps 11,692
http://www.rafabenitez.com/web/index.php?act=mostrarContenidos&idioma=in&co=2282Rafa benitez quoteSo the price is 70 milllionsDont worry for our future ADL knows how to make his businessThere is nothing about 70m in this link. The price will not be' determined by Chelsea because is already determined, 70M, 90% for Napoli is 63MI know that we will always get 90% of the price , but if you think you make the price even if we don't want to sell and don't need money I can retrace why Your economic too is going so bad even without 20 years of BerlusconiAs if Chelsea would pay a penny to Palermo and that other club. Whatever the price will be, and be sure it will be neither 63m nor 70m.That's classic. An Italian joking about German economy. Maybe we had no Berlusconi (whose reign was your very own fault btw), half our country was a communist pseudo-economy, which had to be adapted in these years but we still remained Europe's economic powerhouse. If england is so rich why you need dirty petrol rubles to buy from the poor italySent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 4 BetaNo idea how you could overlook the big German flag left to my username and no idea what club ownership has to do with a country's economy. Even in the richest countries there are poor clubs and clubs owned by foreigners. Dude, you make no sense whatsoever.
Chelsea? 892
Not "worth it"? In my honest opinion no football player is worth the salary they are getting, the numbers are absurd. But that is the way it is. And in that sense, Cavani is definatley worth £50m.If we want to pay that kind of money is another discussion. Just because we/some people here are unwilling to pay that (as if they run the economics of the club) that doesnt mean the player is worth less.these players help raise billions of dollars for their clubs, would you rather the club executives pocket most of the money? or do you want something similar to the NCAA? teignman 441
This is the type of deal we should shy away from. We should buy players that have a chance of exceeding the value of their transfer fee. Cavani has little or no chance of doing this. He's a fantastic player, but he's quite overpriced. I'd rather get a striker that significantly improves our first 11 and is better value for money. semiller1313 and ulsterchelsea
ulsterchelsea 3,221
I never concern myself with how much we pay for transfers as there are people at the club to worry about that but id draw the line under this one now. Entirely up to Napoli how much they want for Cavani but if they re not gonna negotiate at all then move on edenhazard17
DanishBlue 426
I agree even though I really want Cavani :/ Lewandowski would be the best deal for the club and we would be able to sell him again in 3-4 years for the same price or even more. Bayern is just an annoying obstacleMaybe we can get him with a salary he just can't resist (obviously has to be way higher than what Bayern offers). bushman 2,043
I do not believe Roman does not have 63m or is not willing to pay, but I believe the whole deal has a lot to do with FFP. As mentioned above Lewandowski is much better option, strong prolific striker, him & Lukaku could set the PL on fire.

DanishBlue 426
Lewandowski is an amazing player and I would take him in a heartbeat. The price is also a major factor. Oh, and he is 2 years younger.
primax79 79
It's called a RELEASE clause for a reason. If 63m euros is paid to Napoli the bid must be accepted. Any clauses to Palermo, Danubio or taxes are then negotiated by Napoli, not the fucking buying club. It's Napoli who agreed to the clauses no one else. How can the president say his release clause is 63m euros then some guy on here says it's 70m lol fucking unreal, literally saying the guy who runs Napoli is lying, madness The clause is 63 net for naples. All the rest is in charge of the buyer. If you're really interested in cavani (no calls from anyone except city until now) you will discover I don't want to keep this discussion where I'm documented and you say not without any evidence in your hand except what you would like to be, so if tou want yo keep talking about the price please documentate yourself Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta CHOULO19

Whoever buys Cavani have absolutely fuck all to do with whatever Napoli have negotiated with Palermo. It's simple really, pay 63m to ADL's bank account, negotiate a contract with the player and sign the papers. Where do Palermo fit in there? That's right, they don't, and after the transfer has gone through it is then up to Napoli to pay from the fucking 63m whatever stakes the player's former clubs still had in the guy. You go on about this not being documented but aside from some shady internet link you can't come up with anything concrete either and as far as 99,999% of the world are concerned the price is whatever the Napoli president says it is and at the moment that's 63m.Rant over. De_ChrapQaa 192
I think lewandowski is actually better FOR US than cavani, something like let lewandowski be number 1 for about 2-3 years, then sell him for big money to bayern, and throw out Lukaku, who can be backup those seasons... only thing lukaku needs is some experience from CL, and i really hope his chance will come... but this is unreal, cuz lew love bayern and he dont want to leave anywhere but there. different level 1,056
LOL at the Napoli fans trying to convince us that Cavani's price should be even more inflated . I'm tired of clubs trying to milk us by slapping some ridiculous price tags on the players we are interested in. I'd like Cavani here as he's a great player and fantastic striker, but if Napoli and their president continue being so arrogant by publicly demanding the release clause and stating that is the only option to sell him, I'd rather we look elsewhere. You could argue that they can do as they please as they hold his rights..., well, you can ask Edinson how does he feel about being prevented to join a top team, because of his team's lunacy.
