Some people just have the weirdest and most childish blind faith in our 'Strikeforce', if you can even call it that.Someone on £200,000 a week just for a marginal upgrade though? I don't think so. If we are going to spend big money/wages on a striker, it has to be a huge upgrade for me. Villa isn't in that bracket anymore. Even without a WC striker we have enough quality in our squad to win the League this season.Anyone slagging off the club for not paying £70m on a striker is an idiot. Aside from bringing back Jose its probably the most sensible decision the club has made in recent memory.People wanting Villa clearly show half the fanbase is clueless. He had a hand in transfers, marketing, communications; everything. He was the glue which held so much potential chaos together.
