It does n't make sense to sub Sanchez for this as long as Poch does n't prohibit keepers from playing pass game.

Interesting that they did not manage to have a lot of possession, only 57%, which is a big part of their game. Suppose the team did a good job disrupting their play esp in the first half.

We were tactically excellent. All their chances came from stupid mistakes from our sides while we carved them open a lot. They did not really create anything apart from that 2nd goal. All their possession was trash, we completely waltzed them in midfield. With either a proper striker or goalkeeper we win this comfortably. Best performance of the season for the first 70minutes for me

Arsenal called it a day. We genuinely needed to keep our discipline as Arsenal were jogging about after the 70th minute. Football is all about momentum, and Sanchez, under zero pressure, decided to bring Arsenal back to life. They seized Sanchez’s gift. It was sabotage. 
 

We will always be a ‘what if’ team until this complacency and naivety is gone.

Just watched again so 2-0 up we had the Palmer chance where the goon keeper gave it to him, and the Jackson one on one where to his credit, or not he didnt go down. Lessons will be learned and we will be more ruthless. Ddefinitely room for optimism despite the result.

So frustrating, still this morning, we bosses that game until inviting pressure via the mistake, Arsenal were out of ideas entirely, well done to Poch and team, tactically. Yesterday showed our glaring weaknesses again, GK and ST.

Those that came on in NJ and Noni, my word, look in the mirror this morning, especially Noni, or give up and go on loan to 10 clubs like CHO. Really disappointed since he was dropped.

I was at the game yesterday. What an experience!

I was super impressed but at the same time bummed we gave it up. We completely outclassed them. I know we can talk moral victories and all that, but they are the best team or second best team out at the moment and we thoroughly outplayed them the majority of that game even with all our injuries. 
 

We are a young team and you could sense inexperience and nervousness set in as they got one back. It will happen, but we are clearly making strides - which is important. This team can be very good on it’s day and put it together - which is exactly what a young team is. 
 

Cucu, Conor, Enzo and Thiago were standouts for me. Palmer plays some wonderful balls. Mudryk screams a player who once he gets rolling he will become something great. Still looks a little afraid to be himself and try things. Gusto was impressive for a large chunk then had some mistakes. 
I’ll say again but Conor has really won me over. Added class and poise to his game.  Becoming my favourite player. 
 

We really should have had about 6 goals from that but - we are getting there. Palmer could have slotted that shot that went just wide. Should have put the interception away. Levi had an open header… Jackson has to hit some shots earlier too. 
 

Great game to go to. Super chuffed. No win - but you can see us turning it around. Have patience. We are young and this was a naive performance if to put it no other way.

Feels like a loss and could've given them their first loss this season too...but least we didn't compleltly throw it all away I guess....hopefully can take something from this going forward!

This thing happens with the goalie mistakes:
They try to make a clever pass instead of just clearing the ball.
But while the opposite attackers are pressurising, his players are trying to find free spaces - they 're not playing man to man.
So it becomes disastrous - like with Mendy against Real Madrid.
Arsenal just escaped when they made the same error but we did n't and it's different when a defender other than the goalkeeper makes the mistake.
When it is another defender who flufs his lines, we have the Gerrard slip situations but usually there is some cover.
Poch must prohibit this when there is pressure, at the expense of perhaps missing some good occasions to move the ball downfield.
But for Sanchez it was of course even more totally unacceptable because we were 2-0 up fifteen minutes from time and we had no reason whatsoever to hurry.
I noted this before.

Absolutely gutted we couldn't see it through. Based on what we saw they don't have a chance in hell at the title. Improvement in the team has been good and have the feeling we will trend towards top 4 as the season progresses.

We are in way better situation future wise imo. They dont look like a team that can beat top10 side either.

Since SAF left 10 years ago they are in same spot without improving and nothing suggesting they will next couple of years. Onana and Mount as I said back in June is waste of money.

United do not worry me at all. 

I am very excited about our project and would not trade it at the moment for any short term success we had before with Conte, Tuchel... Even when we won CL 2 and a half years ago it was clear that TT football would never work in a long run.

Not that bothered about no CL either. We won it recently, we saw it, we experienced it, now we are in position that is new for us Chelsea fans and it is important to enjoy the ride because after struggles it will be very sweet to be back and stay there for a long time which is this project all about. I would even say that after Pep leaving which is planned for summer 2025 we are in best position to take it from there and dominate PL. Arsenal will be a rival.

We have a base and just need to be patient with this young squad.

This is main base of 19 players I believe are here to stay for a long period and already proving themself. There a plenty of others young players like Angelo, Washington, Santos, Casadei, Madueke, Richards, Moreira... Eventually we can expect to go on a market for top CF and GK. We really do not need more than that. I still have faith in Fofana becoming top CB and expecting him to replace Silva without new player coming in. After first being skeptical about our wingers Mudryk and Palmer are looking so promising last couple of weeks. 

Yes, things like yesterday will still happen but this is part of the process. We need to give time to Poch and young players and this group will be at top of European footy for many, many years. I am sure of it. It is clear what our owners are trying to do and it is really exciting. Enjoy the ride and seeing this group developing together next couple of years will be great.
