Doing so against a top team or a team with dangers all over the pitch is acceptable or at least understandable. To do so against a team missing so many players and in dreadful form is embarrassing. And we barely even looked like scoring from open play. Chance to go top squandered in pathetic fashion. The form of our two Germans has to be a huge worry now. Both did less than nothing today. But said it earlier, as much as we were horrible, Everton didn't really create too much but Mendy decided to turn into Kepa for a moment again and cost us this time. Should have been able to just take the 0-0 and run. Frustrating. Maybe this defeat will also temper our title expectations a little. Nowhere near good enough and consistent yet.
