That is what makes it feel better, that they are left with egg on their face. As @Superblue_1986 said Grealish is fancied more because he is more flashy and more exciting to watch etc and it is annoying that all the English fans who begged for Grealish to start would take it out on Mount. People would say Grealish isnt starting because he is not at a 'big team'. Grealish is now at a 'big team' and while I don't always want to flash the stats card, if Grealish had Mount stats this season, the Grealish fanboys would be jumping on their high horse. Grealish has only 4 goals this season. 2 in the league and only 2 assists. Grealish has escaped a lot of criticism from the media for obvious reasons but using other supporter's fans views of Mount is a strawman's response.

How has Grealish’s season at City gone? Or Barkleys? 2 players you said were better than Mason repeatedly over the last 2 years.

That stat is crazy. Also our only player with double digits goals and assists in the league...Just feels so much less no idea why... maybe is is because he plays so much. Also only 1 penalty at that. Would not surprise me if he scores more non-penalty goals than Penandes next season lol

Have to say, Mount has been brilliant this season. I have been harsh and quick to criticise the lad but he has shown real quality this year.

Good to see positive posts for Mount. I have a feeling that he would end up being underrated for most of his career because he doesnt bring the swag which half decent players brings to the table.

To be honest I think he was better last season even if the stats say otherwise.

I keep on saying that this guy will turn into a world class player very soon, that is if he has not turned to one yet. He is already improving his final ball decisions and precision when it comes to finishing. Consistency will perfect it. Already his workrate is massive.
