oman43 45
One thing all this does prove is that Jose must truly be here to stay. I know Jose has made that clear in endless amounts of interviews but with recent events it shows the club and Roman in particular are also 100% behind him. JM is doing it his way and I trust him on that, but now that he explicitly started a transformation period the club have to let him finish it, which will take years, years which he better be given! Popular Post! Tomo 21,751 Posted January 23, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted January 23, 2014 People tend to forget rather quickly and be without respect to those who have achieved never-seen results in the club's history. You can organize something uniform, but if you lose your creativity and personality with selling the grey cells, you will never win anything. The more people keep on saying you-know-who knows better, the more people will believe that they think the same and approve such a dumb act like selling the player who belongs to our history in an organic way. Its rather ironic your first line considering you then go on and slag off the only manager to win us back to back titles. HD3D 1,038
Are you serious? So the same people that were singing "Jose mourinho" are going to pull a mata applause similar to a post rdm applause in the face of mourinho?Just to show you that some people truly don't believe in mourinho we trust. It can still be a tribute to Mata without having to be an attack on the manager. He gave a lot to the club and certainly deserves a last thank you. If I was there, I would applaud too even though I'm not against the deal. Ainsley Harriott 2,732
Can't wait until he gets us playing his typical clinical counter-attack. We have the attacking mids to do so, hopefully Matic and a fresh Lampard give us a better defense-to-attack connenction we've missed at times. It'll be a thing of beauty. Strike 7,527
Out: Mata, De Bruyne, Bertrand, Essien (?), Ba (?)In: Matic, Salah, new defender (?), new CF (?)Some of these have already happened and some are heavily rumoured. Mourinho turned this January window into real life Football Manager, players coming and going like crazy. Yeah. But was such a drastic change needed in January? I would have been fine with Matic in for Kdb being the only January switch before getting in the 'clinical' signings in the summer to complete the team. With all these changes, it is somewhat of a new start at the club from February and, I don't think it was needed at all. Since Jose has always maintained low expectations for his first season, why are Chelsea suddenly very active in the January market?KdB was going out and there's no problem with Essien moving on but the others - Bertrand, Ba(?) and Mata (to United)? There will be a nice profit in next year's books but one that was going to be there whether they were sold in January or the summer. Reshaping the squad in January was certainly not the initial plan but for some reason, Jose is making more changes to the team now than in the summer. Maybe he's been unimpressed by those players but I don't like the 'chop and change' mentality that seems to be at the club at every transfer window. In the summer, there will be more money spent on left back and striker
Popular Post! Shane 2,275 Posted January 24, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted January 24, 2014 We've relied on Mata really on the last few seasons. In a way, we relied on Mata as much as Liverpool did Suarez and Bale to Spurs. Where would we have been last season without Juan Mata? Not in third spot anyway. Probably fifth. Wouldn't have won the Europe League last season either. But Jose comes in and fixes all that. We're a well oiled machine. Jose deserves enormous credit for doing this. We're challenging on all fronts now, Looking like we can win the league, FA Cup and really challenge for the Champions League, which I have no doubt we will be for challenging next season and beyond.Juan has fallen out of favour. Why? He doesn't fit Jose's system. He isn't changing his game to adapt and to be honest he's probably right not too, But unfortunately for us that will mean his departure. I will still love watching Juan, as I do every player who plays the game with such beauty, Its a shame, but Chelsea F.C comes first in this instance, and so does Jose's philosophy.£35-40m pounds for a player who sits on our bench week in, week out? For Jose, who must have his mind made up that Mata won't fit into his plans, Is a no brainier. Will I miss Mata? Yes, of course I will.Does it feel good to have Jose back, Calling the transfer shots, having some balls and making us a superpower again? Of course I do.Unbeaten against the top teams, and challenging for honours. This is the Chelsea I missed. This is Jose Mourinho's Chelsea, that won back to back titles and was robbed of a Champions League, when Juan Mata was merely a kid.The name of the front is more important then the name on the back. Thanks for the memories Juan, but we were Chelsea before you and we'll be Chelsea after you.In Jose we trust. kellzfresh, Ainsley Harriott, Polo7 and 10 others

And you could say it worked for him, because Villa took points off us.Look at the Willian transfer? We were blown away and ended up losing out to them and he looks a hell of a player. He loans us Victor Moses instead and now, we spend a month fannying around and once again Mourinho and his team gazump us and will now take Salah, leaving us with probably no back-up plan so late in the window. It's all calculated, he's probably been planning to do this for weeks and weeks. He keeps pissing on our chips and I really want to see him get his comeuppance. angry.gifMourinho trolling their minds robdog, Kieran., didierforever and 15 others
