Haha, not surprised by his comments but genuinely couldn't care less as I expected nothing less. I'm just glad the cancer is no longer here.

I respect your opinion, but will you still not be bothered if he's winning titles there? Or if Conte fails spectacularly or even doesn't get us top 4 whilst José is killing it in Manchester?

For me, it's too early to decide whether it's a good thing he's gone. I won't know that until this time next year.

Spot on mate and I would like to add one more thing - Mourinho supposedly become unhappy because the board did not back him in the transfer market last summer. Something I can't agree with or deny because I don't know what's happened behind closed doors. But ok, let's say the board did not buy the players he wanted. Well, if he cared about this club as much as he said he cared, maybe for once in his life could have moved on and accept the situation. Instead he got grumpy and fucked our season big time, burned bridges with everyone at the club and got the sack he deserved. I don't want to come up with fucked up theories that he did it on purpose just to get the sack and go to United, knowing United are desperate to land him. No, but damn mate, it looks like that with every day going by.

It's like something got into his brain the day the board told him that they can't afford to buy the players he wants and he chose to act like a spoilt brat. It's not like Chelsea didn't back him enough during all his years at the club. Mourinho is the manager that has spent the most money in the transfer market ever and he is millions short of reaching 1 BILLION Euros spent on players. Surely this summer he will reach that mark.

And if you ask me the worst thing was this morning when he praised United with that bullshit talk, mystique, romance and shit like that. At least out of respect for those who were still chanting his name in December he could have spared the Chelsea fans from shit like that. This goes to show how sick he is and that one of the reasons why he took the United job is to get revenge on Abramovich & Chelsea. This is Mourinho, a vengeful, sick human being that puts himself above everything.

This is why I was pissed off with the constant chants of "Jose Mourinho" in games. So much of the fans showed him loyalty yet he says stuff like this and the unsurprising thing is, I knew Mourinho would come out with comments like this. I wonder what the fans who sung his name constantly after he was sacked feel now.

Its more symptomatic of modern football. The owners buy a club and leech off the brand loyalty of fans to make a profit (unless theyre obscenely wealthy like Abramovich, Man City owners, then its just polishing their ego).

Successful managers again just leech off the money at the club, again put in by the fans and TV deals. Probably less than 1% of people in top football -that's owners, directors, coaches, medics, players, have any loyalty to their teams whatsoever. Its only the fans.

So no surprise when millionaires, be it players or managers are prostituted around by parasitical agents spout meaningless 'best club in the world' bullshit and do badge kissing. Its all a massive heap of bollox.

Every single person in football has a loyalty to himself over a club. It's crazy to think otherwise.

This club sacked him and he took a job that everyone knew he's wanted for years. His loyalty is to his employer and he's going to say things to get the club and its supporters behind him. His management style requires that.

Chelsea will always mean a lot to him, but all this talk about him owing something to Chelsea and its supporters is nonsense.

Apart from the fans.

The real loyalty of the owners players and coaches is to their bank balance and succumbing to greed.

There would be nothing more ironic than Willian leaving after being lauded by our dumb fans for his passion & loyalty while the much maligned Hazard stays despite being one of the few players in the world that can pretty much pick any club of his choosing.

This is such non-sense. First of all, Willian and Hazard will not leave. Our image as a club is not that good at the moment. We are not even close to United's, City's or even Liverpool's hype at the moment. The media will be all about them this summer.

Losing either one of the best two players is clearly not an option for us at this point. If the club sells one of them (specially to Mourinho's United), Chelsea's credibility will be destroyed.

Secondly, considering what I have previously mentioned, I find it hard to believe that we can afford seeling one of the best players in the world just because we didn't like his attitude at a certain point.

The only thing he owns to the fans is a bit of respect, the same respect most of the fans showed him during the hard months in October, November and December, when everybody else was turning against him. I'm not saying he has to praise his time at Chelsea in every single interview, but it's rude that he is 5 minutes into his United job and already starts the ass licking. No one would care if it was AC Milan he was talking about, or Real Madrid, but it's fucking Man United the club we all despise and the club whose fans used to absolutely hate Mourinho's guts about six months ago.

Guaranteed soon, or when the season starts he will acknowledge Chelsea fans  -it just wouldn't be done now.

Anyway hes gone now, and hopefully will royally fuck up there :D

You definitely weren't the one who supported Jose through hard times, so why now you taking offence for other people?

I wasn't mate you are right and I'm happy he's gone. Just wanted to express my feelings towards Mourinho the human being and the fact that IMO he's by no means "one of us".

That's the thing man u apart from under moyes haven't been bad.they are still a huge side and always will be seen as regardless of who their manager is.

Whereas with us we haven't always been and even after Jose left had some up down seasons.not worried what he does there expect him to do well and win trophies.long as we are heading up rather then down or backwards or whatever

If we had not shown him loyalty, we would have sacked him long before December. We kept him that long, even after all his controversies, because of his success with us and that we wanted to make this relationship work. And you can talk all about the need to show him support but the fact of the matter is, while the results were poor on the pitch, Mourinho was constantly inciting trouble and creating controversies every single week. When you're already in a bad period, you don't go and create more problems but that's what he did. I don't think Roman wanted to sack him and I doubt he would have on the basis of the results but his petulant behavior was very likely the main thing that sealed his fate. He is already 53 years old and he is an experienced manager. He doesn't need people to tell him that he shouldn't do what he did but he couldn't see the error of his ways (even after doing it countless of times in the last 10 years!) and didn't want to change. Mourinho was the one who burned that bridge.

It's really bizarre that some group of Chelsea fans think we can't survive without Mourinho. It's as though he's the be-all and end-all for us and we don't have him in charge, we are doomed to fail. We have proved that we can win without him and will continue to do so. And so what if he brings United back to the top? Do people actually think they are just going to stuck rut for eternity? Even if it's not Mourinho, someone else would bring United back to the top. So I don't get all this outcry that Mourinho will restore greatness to their club.

Just not sure your causality here is correct: Jose historically incites trouble only when the team is not performing and keeps more quiet when things are going well. Right or wrong, he's always done that (other managers do the same btw), mostly to remove pressure from his players. Obviously, this strategy only works for a short time and eventually you need to get the results, but the overall form at the beginning of the season was so poor that it was going to take a while no matter what you did.

I am a firm believer that we would have end up at around the same position had Jose stayed. Even the obvious dissident players would've decided to rally behind him a bit just to stay safe, eventually; bringing Hiddink just expedited the process, but along it came his bad tactics, team selections, and outdated ideas... IMO of course.
