It probably was a mistake but it is also about the message it sends.  A great club has to reward its most loyal servants so the younger ones know that it is worth it staying loyal and performing.

I think James is in there. 

And I feel the same with Gallagher, he really loves the club. Let's hope he improves his game with Pochetino and can kick on his career with us.
