Batman has the bat signal that Gotham lights up when they need him. DL loves using geezer I propose we make a geezer signal to let him know we need him :P

Ah I see sorry I am tired and dejected :(

That is a great idea, who do we call about getting one of those

All I want for Christmas is Luiz back in the squad

Our squad never leaked 6 goals in 2 goals against shit sides even with Luiz's "mistakes".

Need to bring our ball playing CB back.

This.

When he plays, he adds an extra dimension to our attack. Right now, the best we can get out of our defense are inconsistent crosses from Ivanovic.

Not saying DL has been faultless this season in his play.. But when he is in the team moves the ball better.. I feel safer with an attacker running at the back four with Luiz there than I do with Cahill.. We can't rush him but if we really want to make it deep in any of the competitions we are in we need him back starting game after game with Terry to build that partnership up like he had under Carlo when Luiz played his best I feel...

Its all fine and dandy to play safe when you are top of the table by many points but we can't afford to play it save arsenal is still with in touching distance and we need solidarity in the back to make up those points... If you look at the Arsenal backline that was the same 4 that were leaking goals a season ago and now look at their defensive record.. We definitely have the players we just need to execute game after game and not take any opposition lightly..

The way we've been playing I wish we'd start Luiz in a CDM position as a 3rd defender (at least for a while) if for nothing else to improve ball possession. Not going to happen since Jose already stated he won't do that (made no sense to say that - oh well). Gotta shut the floodgate somehow...

He should be asking for a transfer ASAP to where his style can be fully appreciated. That's certainly not Mourinho's direct simple system.

With the debate about who should play at centre back, i think it's gone past the point of which one (out of him and Cahill) make more mistakes per se, it's more about how they can handle the opposition.

I mean if we play Real Madrid at any point in the CL this season, who would you have more confidence playing and 'handling' the opposition? Cahill or Luiz? for me it's the later every time.

Well if Luiz decides to start doing crazy shit like he has in the past then I wouldn't fancy any of them two haha! Still waiting to see him play at the same level consistently for a season with very little mistakes but obviously I believe Jose can change him. But yeah Luiz > Cahill, by a mile.

I've missed the kind of defending he provides. The anticipations, the aggressive defending, the quality in the transition, the good positioning, the very much needed speed in our defense (that overall is very slow with Terry, Cahill and Ivanovic).

I won't pretend he was tested though, he wasn't, and I expect him to start a couple of matches for us (and Mourinho) to decide if he or Cahill is the best partner to Terry. I also expect Terry to be rested (maybe against Crystal) because I think we're risking him with the amount of matches he's been playing. Terry is our best CB this season and his latest presentations (except today) show he's tired and we better not try our luck with burning him out and risking a muscular injury. I'd play Cahill + Luiz against both Crystal and Sunderland because they're more than enough to handle them and hopefully we won't be so unlucky in set-pieces in League Cup as we were last week.
