when I saw him save Mata 's penalty said to my wife looked a typical Hitler youth from the 1930s

Did the same thing to my gf. Looked like a proper Aryan with all the muscles and blond hair, only missed his SS kit.

Is anybody else having some kind of withdrawal? I just want to go back to that moment when Didier Drogba made us European champions. The euphoria and high that produced was unreal. Jumping up and down, screaming, crying, hugging anyone you ran into (even if they didn't want it), taking a victory shot (vodka in honor of our owner), then just hanging out with your fellow CFC lads at the bar talking about what had just happened.

It's all so unreal, and yet tomorrow I have to get up and go to work like nothing happened...

Louis Saha and Steven Pienaar 'disgrace' Spurs with Chelsea support

Tottenham fans have labelled Louis Saha and Steven Pienaar 'a disgrace' after the pair congratulated Chelsea on their dramatic Champions League penalty shoot-out victory over Bayern Munich.

The Blues unlikely triumph in Germany means Spurs, who finished fourth in the league – five points ahead of Chelsea, will be forced to make way for their London rivals in next season’s Champions League.

However, the disappointment of being dumped into the Europa League didn’t stop Spurs striker Saha and midfielder Pienaar tweeting their support for the Stamford Bridge outfit.

‘Well done Chelsea,’ wrote Pienaar, who spent the last half of the season on loan at Everton.

While Saha said: ‘Bravo Drogba. Bravo Chelsea. Bravo Champion League. Bravo Football. Just magic stuff.

‘No CL for Tottenham but FairPlay to Chelsea. Great victory great final for them.

The Frenchman added: ‘If we had lost with Spurs the final of CL against Chelsea and Drogba had played like yesterday i would have congrats them the same way.

‘U can hate me if u want. U can hate everyone if u want. U wont make me hate football and the view of winners. #fairplay even if gutted.’

Spurs fans erupted with fury and bombarded the pair with a variety of venomous tweets for their perceived disloyalty.

‘You two don't belong at Spurs with your "well done Chelsea" tweets. You're a disgrace to our club,' said one angry fan.

‘We pay your wages and you say well done Chelsea!?!’ raged another.

While one more subdued supporter tweeted: ‘Your entitled to your views but why express them in a public forum in front of millions of Spurs fans? Keep to yourself.'

FROM A SPUDS FORUM:

"I know Mr Levy's and wobbly's relationship not good, hope Mr Levy now kicks him out. I think this will certainly set us back somewhat, unless there is some good business done, by bringing in one or two new players, and a new manager."

The problem is, if we lose Modric ( a certainty) and Bale (a possibility) bringing in one or two new players and a new manager isn't going to help us very much. A foreign manager would want Levy to spend a bundle and there's not much chance of that happening now.

Do you think this discussion ever took place:

Levy: "Do you fancy Llorente and Damiao in the transfer window, Harry?"

Harry: "Nah, Daniel. Save your money. I'll take Saha and Nelsen on loan instead."

The fact is EVERY manager (not just Harry) wants to see big players coming into the club. The other fact is we could never have afforded to buy Llorente or Damiao and can't afford their wages. We've never even paid £20 Million on a player.

I think the problem when you're supporting Spurs (for me) and every other Spurs supporter is that we "think" we're a BIG club. We all live in the PAST.

The reality is we're a top 6 or 7 side, that's all. I'm constantly reminded this by other supporters outside the top four (Fulham, QPR, Everton etc.,)

They say things like: "You Spuds are in cloud cuckoo land if you think you're big. When did you last win the league?" Er.....Actually, 1961.

When did we last win a cup of any real note? Er.......Actually, under Terry Venables.

We all go on about the Gooners not winning anything for 7 years, but when have they been out of the top 4? I remember one year they went through the league UNBEATEN. Have we got players with the mental strength to achieve that?

I've just watched Chelsea play defensively against Barcelona and Bayern Munich yet still WIN. Have we got the players with the mental strength to achieve that?

The truth is, (however much it hurts) we're NOT a BIG side. Have we got the POTENTIAL to become a big side? Answer: Yes, we have, but it is by no means guaranteed.

The fact of the matter is, regardless of criticism of Harry, Levy, the players and everyone else, is that if you had said to 8 out of 10 Spurs supporters this: "Would you be happy with a top 4 place?" then they would have all answered YES.

Well, that's what we got. The fact that we didn't qualify for the CL this year because of the rules is our hard luck.

Just take a look at our league position. We were TWENTY POINTS adrift from the Manchester clubs. There's nothing big about that.

My god, a sensible Spurs fan AND a Liverpool fan posted on this topic in the last 24 hours. What is this world coming to? :o
