Hes never played as a sitter in his days in the PL except 4 games under Conte before we changed to 343..... these guys are paid to give opinions/discuss football on the tv... mental
Magic Lamps 11,692
In Germany Rangnick is rumoured to be a candidate for the job. For those who do not know him, he was at the helm for the investor-backed hoffenheim and rb leipzig project leading them from the lower leagues to el places in alternating positions as coach/technical director. His style is pressing and winning the ball high and then attacking as quickly as possible or sitting deep and counter attacking. He either plays 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 but is overall postionally flexible, just demands high work ethic. He is adept at identifying and developing talent, not at all a cheque book manager but would spend on young and upcoming players. I also thought hard about him but before but he usually had full backing of owner and board so this job may be out of his depth. No easy character but one of the sharpest footballing minds in Germany. Fernando, Costa19 and Blue Armour

Interesting choice if it were to happen...definitely sounds more inspiring than Allegri or some of the other names thrown about. OneMoSalah 8,886
Actually think it may be a good laugh if we went and appointed Tony Pulis. Long balls/huge throw ins to Giroud every match, Bakayoko clattering people chasing after his first touch, Alonso doing his best Erik Pieters impression and Willian being Willian. Na we need to get another manager sorted now Sarri to Juve is all but done basically. If its gonna be Frank then get it wrapped up quickly. If not, dont dwindle and get someone else in. If we dont get Frank then I dont know where we go from here seeing as Allegri wants to take a year off. Steve Holland definitely a wild card but couldnt see us realistically approaching him. Mourinho? I doubt that will happen. Nuno? Cant see it either. Javi Gracia? Please no. Its really looking quite bleak isn't it?
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
i think lampard will be done and announced soon i think we can all assume the wheels have been in motion for lampard, even since all this sarri talk started

Jase 43,479
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/06/13/maurizio-sarri-leave-chelsea-juventus-clubs-agree-5m-compensation/ Chelsea have agreed to release Maurizio Sarri to Juventus after finally agreeing a compensation package that could be worth over £5million. And that will now free the Blues to step up talks over a potential return to Stamford Bridge for club legend Frank Lampard. ... The fee received for Sarri should more than cover any compensation needed to buy Lampard out of his Derby County contract if he is deemed the right man to step in. Lampard has a number of backers inside Stamford Bridge and, despite some fears over the fact he has managed for just a year with Derby in the Championship, sources put the chances of his return as high as 80 per cent. Chelsea’s young players have been excitedly exchanging messages over the prospect of Lampard and his assistant Jody Morris returning, and what it would do for their playing prospects. oldportblue and Fernando

Pizy 18,953
My immediete thought in regards to Lamps is how he's going to setup the midfield. Wonder if he'll fancy Jorginho and if so, in what role? I really don't want him sold.
Blue Armour 4,448
Lampard, Jody Morris...maybe even Drogba if he's interested in helping out with coaching. If we're really going to rely on the youth as the case seems for next season then let's do that

Guys shown more than enough times this season particularly in the last 10 or 15 matches he is more than good enough.
