Was about to loan out Ziyech - gets him back and plays him in nearly every game, even turning him into a starter

Played Jorginho in nearly ever game he was here, but sells him at the last minute.

Sidelined Aubemayang for weeks but calls him back in the dying minutes of this game,.when all is lost.

Yeah, he's just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.

Just clueless at this point.

True, ziyech suddenly playing so many games after almost loan him out to psg, is very very weird

Or is it actually potter the one who want to keep him? all of sudden, think he know how to integrate him as important piece in our team (but failed to do so) So there's ridiculous rumour of sending the wrong document, i mean is there more laughable reason than that.

Would be mental if we somehow won the CL but got relegated in the same season.

We would be playing next year's CL from the Championship.

Bohely looking to set a new trend?

We aren’t beating Dortmund with Potter.

Haha, thought crossed my mind too. Seems too convenient that they kept making mistake after mistake., in his failed move.

Even if it were true, it's shambolic that it went that far only for him to take a sudden u-turn

Yep, my patience has worn thin now. I had offered my support for him to remain in charge to gain some sustainability, however after today, this is just the final nail in the coffin. Enough is enough. Same old. Nice passages of play an link ups but no clear created chances. Aubameyang is not necessarily going to be a miracle to our prayers, but I struggle to see why he has been so ostracized from the team when our attackers have done dog sh*t. In the past few weeks, he only changed up the forward line once against Southampton and then took Fofana off at H/T despite him offering a lot more than other players that game. Decisions don't make sense. We have not looked this dysfunctional for a long, long while. I have actually forgotten what it is like to win. But no excuse for another poor showing. Two sloppy goals too. I don't see how he survives this now and I don't see what excuse can be made for Potter now. Same old crap.

After today's game I'm confident that we're doing the same things expecting different results. Are the players to be blamed, hell yes! However how to do plan & strategize is to the gaffer. And there're so many gaps which indicates that Potter is not able to keep it together

  • Constant chopping & change. Not sure on the first 11
  • Same tactics with different people.
  • Link up from behind to the middle is sorted but transition from middle to in front is at best average and link up around the final third is non existent.
  • Too many touches in the final third is killing the momentum. The obsession of keeping possession is not helping.

All the above boils down to the Gaffer & the technical staff.

Players are not interested when they take on the field. In game intelligence was zero, eg: Mudryk had 2 players on him whenever he had the ball but instead of doing a quick pass he was keen to take them both ... Chilwell's positioning for the second goal was duh! ... so many times when we should have done an overlap but the player goes & waits half way ... there was a need to play a one touch game & feed the ball into the box but we just keep pushing it away.

Not in favor of sacking managers but Potter is not helping himself.
