It’s the same update every 3 days or so from either Fabrizio or Ben Jacobs. “Clubs are talking, personal terms were long since agreed.” Getting boring now.

Because Romano hasn't got a clue whats happening apart from there is talks. He will get the nod when it's done and give the old here we go- That's why he is suing phrases like quiet in public, he knows there is talks but so do we all. He cannot give more info because he doesn't know

Dybala feels like a mirror of Joao Felix. Classy footballer, nice and tidy, but won’t actually score many goals for us.

Felix in LaLiga never scored more than 8 goals. Dybala has 7 double digits seasons in Seria A.

And Felix also in Spain never had more than 10 goals in all comps. Dybala had seasons with 13, 15, 17, 18, 19, 23, 26 goals.

Last season with 18g and 8a in just 2500mins (equal to 28 games) is good return.

For sure. I think the club are doing this very deliberately now and will continue to do so for big money important transfers, having managed to save and get the Enzo deal done eventually by going to do it F2F and then later the same with Mount. Why not just start that way by insisting on f2f talks and trying to get it all resolved in person in a few meetings held over a few days. Feels a lot more sane than phone calls or emails spread out over weeks.

Hope it's true, I'd rather have Dybala for 12m as a stop gap than waste all that money on Lautaro or Vlahovic.

But Dybala is not a centre forward  like Lautaro or vlahovic. He is more of a second striker like Nkunku. Can still be useful as backup despite being old and washed up but does not answer the striker question.

Last season 38 games, 18 goals and 8 assists. For £12m it's a no brainer surely.

Believe me, I really like Dybala as a player just like I really liked Felix. But for me he needs to play together with a proper #9nrather than actually being the striker leading the line, right? He and Tammy link up really well at Roma.

Similar to his fellow Argentine Lautaro who we’re also linked with of course.

That's in Euros, so it works out at just over £10m. The worry would be whether he'd be able to lead the line without someone alongside him to play off.

If Poch wants him we should get him if he is really 12m. That's the kind of signing we should just make if our manager asks, no questions asked. It is the big money ones I really want the DoF to be deciding on with Poch just giving a nod.

Don't give the manager too much power. We know how it went with Conte. I trust Winstanely and the directors' picks since January.

True but we gonna most likely use 4231 like Poch did before.

So for 3 positions behind striker we have Sterling, Mudryk, Madueke as wingers. And who is AM after Felix and Kai and Mount left? Nkunku and Gallagher? But Conor may be sold still and Nkunku could be used as winger no?

So there is a place for Dybala I think either way.

Liverpool interested in Levi Colwill. Are even holding off on their LCB signing to wait and see if Colwill is an option. Poch's should absolutely convince Colwill he's in our plans.

Colwill for me is a Reece James level prospect. Someone who can become one of the best in the world at his position if given a starting role. If we even considered selling him, much less to a rival we’ll be competing with, then we may as well shut down the academy. It would be unforgivable.
