PianetAzzurro writes that the Serie A side don’t want to grant Kepa control over his ‘image rights’. So with the Blues and the goalkeeper both ‘annoyed’ at waiting for the club to meet their demands, it’s ‘most likely the deal will be wrecked’.

That’s why Napoli are now said to be going for alternatives, such as Keylor Navas or Salvatore Sirigu. What had seemed to be a simple chase is now turning into a soap opera, just like has been happening with other players who’ve been on the verge of leaving Chelsea this summer, and players connected with Napoli too for that matter.

they are also looking at Mignolet iirc

If we end this window with Fofana + a forward I’ll be over the moon. We can make a real run at the top 2 and the CL then I feel.

Our depth throughout the whole team would be insanely good.

and you think that we can challenge for the title with sterling/ziech/werner and puli?

Nah, I’m saying with another forward brought in. We can at least make it less embarrassing than finishing 20+ points behind them.

I think CR7 is done for as en elite player. Yes, he will score goals here and there due to his quality, but the ball will have to be played to him most of the time and that can be very costly at this level.

Vardy at 35 is just too old as well -- esp for a guy who relied on pace as much as he did.

Personally I was hoping for signings in the mould of Werner and Kai. Fofana does fit that tho.

Seems funny but they will solve it somehow.

Barcelona leaders are not whole stupid, but even if they were, I am sure agents of these newly signed players did precheck and possibility of not being able to be registered for LaLiga had been discussed and dismissed.

I am sure all of the mentioned players will be registered.

Another hit piece by DM who have been relentless since the club became up for sale.

And right before our first match.

Read through the article and you'll see it's all baseless speculation and conjecture.

The PL itself did a litmus test. What more needs to be said?

74 million euros, ie £62m for a left back not named Davies or Robertson (who is now in his last full sub 30yo season) or Theo

the most ever paid for a fullback in the history of football

only three before were even over £50m (Achraf Hakimi, João Cancelo, and Benjamin Mendy)

and that is on top of us spending the second most ever for a LB (Chilwell)

£107m for two left backs

wtf
