Was he a club deal, that then got scrapped but TT kept an eye on him last season, or was he a player TT wanted but it got veto/abandoned because of Granny/the Board? I would be interested to find out. If he was a player TT wanted and told them to get and they ignored/refused then you can see why they got swept out asap. I’m told talks have intensified today and Chelsea are confident this bid will be accepted. If not, they’ll keep going. Ampadu to Leicester has been mentioned to me, but nothing advancing yet.
